none of the "experts"

You guys are right, how dare I have an opinion of what I actually sat there and watched? Everything I said about Stafford making lots of short passes to move the chains, having a couple brilliant throws and a couple of duds, and needing to improve on his check downs was from my imagination. Stafford is the greatest QB ever, needs no improvement, and completely dominated the Seahawks from start to finish. Slurp, slurp, burp. This Honolulu Blue Kool Aid sure is tasty.

It sounds like a lot of us sat there in the same stadium as you did big guy......I saw it differently. You getting butt hurt because the rest of us are as stubborn in our opinion as you are is funny.

You come across as a 13 year old girl......like.....you are.....like.....about to cry. Get over it.

Stafford was VERY GOOD Sunday. End of story.

He's on pace for near 1400 yards. He's just not getting the TD's.

1458 to be precise. Yes.. I keep track of it..lol

Furthermore he's currently #140 on the all time WR yards list up 30 spots so far on this year.

I'm not butt hurt or crying about anything, I just find it funny that no one can have an opinion of what they saw that is anything less than pure excellence and domination from start to finish. I think you are a tad delusional if you couldn't see us playing from behind all day and making tons of little drop off passes when CJ was eliminated from the equation yet again.

I am not saying he was bad, or even that he wasn't pretty darn good on Sunday. I gave him props for making some really great throws, for moving the chains, and for getting us a win in the end. Everybody here wants to act like that's bad mouthing him or that he's due some grand ceremony from the media for doing what he's paid to do.

Agree to disagree, I suppose.

Every pass can't be a 15 yard pass. The reason the Lions won was because they took what Seattle gave them, and they executed. Previous weeks either receivers weren't sharp and dropped the short passes, or Stafford was off and either couldn't find anybody open or threw a bad pass. You say a ton of drop off passes, I say picking apart the defense.

Toe-may-toe, toe-mah-toe. We aren't disagreeing about there being a lot of short passes that were executed well enough by Stafford and the WRs/RBs to win. Some see that is complete domination, others don't.

I'm not appalled that people thought he did great. I thought he was great in spots too, but I also saw room for improvement in other areas. Whatever... it's a pretty pointless argument when we're arguing semantics of how great great is.

During the game last Sunday they mentioned CJ has been tackled inside the 10 and 5 quite a bit so maybe a little unlucky he doesn't have more TD's.

maybe the disconect is you havent watched the other games this year lol? Staff was light years better last sunday than in previous games. Im the first one that would be critical...trust me...90% of my posts are critical lol. The most important thing he did in that game was to sustain drives long enough to flip the field. They didnt have that great of field position most of the game. After our defense struggled early th field position helped them get stops the rest of the game.

Short passes and dump offs are what the modern passing game has become. It's the reason guys consistantly have completion percentages in the high 60s low 70s. For most teams it's taken the place of the running game.
