yes, MSU has been much better since Izzo stopped giving a shit. after the oklahoma game, he said that he's going to change the way he coaches to play to the rules. he told appling that if he took a jumper he'd kill him since they were calling so many touch fouls. after the UNC game, he switched and said that he didn't care about the rules, we were going to play tough D and if they called it they called it. we were too soft, worry about picking up fouls vs playing tough defense. we've been much better since then

Izzo is more and more fired up every year. Im starting to wonder if hes frustrated from the elusive 2nd NC or something else. He was never the type to show the pearly whites during games but he seems furious all the time.

There could be something to that. Izzo does seem agitated more often than not this season. Maybe with the way recruiting is going he knows it's the last time he'll be in the running for an NC for awhile, not to mention the little injuries and illnesses that keep popping up.

I think he's frustrated that he has the team to win it all but we keep having injuries that hold us back. Either way I'd be happy w 16-1 if everyone was healthy.
