This is 2012 all over again

Get StartedIt wasn?t really a two quarterback system but didn?t Florida bring freshman Tim Tebow in as a situational quarterback quite often in 2006?
youre at the frikken 2 yard line...just line up and run the ball and give yourself some space. How did shotgun throwing the ball work for you the last 5 times you were backed up on the goaline? just stupid..
Pick 1 QB and stick with them. This is bullshit. Reminiscent of Cousins/Nichol garbage ala 2009.
Lewerke is the worst qb in college football

Offense is a joke. Dantonio has to make changes or this program will crumble.
Lombardi just isn't that good and Lewerke is clearly injured or just not the same. Backup or not, those back to back fumbles were inexcusable - the execution shouldn't be that horrific in week 10.
At this point, I think you give up on the season, get Lombardi two games of experience as a starter and hope Lewerke gets healthy for next year, if not then Lombardi will have a little more experience at least.
I don’t think Lombardi is great by any means, the sample size is so limited there’s no way you could even have that opinion. I do think as it stands right now it’s obvious he is better than Lewerke, he has an energy he brings and can put some zip on the ball. The first fumble I’m not sure who takes the blame, the second one was awful and clearly on him (side point: what the hell is with this team running the option this year? He and Lewerke both cannot pitch it to save their lives, they fling it high and way too hard without any touch).
Reading postgame quotes yesterday from Lewerke, he himself said along the lines of “I almost took myself out of the game due to my injury and poor play.” Yet Dantonio says he thought he did a good job of managing the situation, what planet are you on Mark?
im definitely not saying lewerke is great. based on what we've seen a healthy lewerke is better than a healthy lombardi in mu opinion but I'm open to a spring/fall qb competition. all I'm saying is right now i thiink shutting him down and getting him healthy for next year is the better option. his injury is clearly affecting him and its not going to get better by making him throw and take hits in 2 meaningless games.
Totally agree. There?s no point in throwing Lewerke out there, if he does somehow play well and battle back from injury there?s no point, the season is essentially lost, there?s not enough upside from going 9-4 to justify further injury or even losing confidence/the locker room.
isnt 8-4 the best we can do? and that's not going to be easy. nebraska isnt a clear win w/ either of them but we shud be able to beat rutgers with the walk on punter under center. 7-5 wouldn't surprise me at all.
I was including the bowl game for the 9th win, but I can easily see us losing to Nebraska, they?re playing better and we struggle there.
There is no schadenfreude from this M fan for the Spartans' struggles this season. But them white helmets at home have to go.
