OT: MSU Fraternity meathads

they were defending drunken destruction of property?

No, like I said, it was more disbelief that SAM was the guilty frat (well, one of them) and that it wasn't a different frat that did it.

When is played devil's advocate I was accused of being in one of the frats ...now.

And all of this was the young night crowd, not people who work for a living

I bet you got the boot for mentioning religion. They're strict about no politics or religion.

ah, I see.

yeah, I'm sure the State Police got the name of the frat wrong, consistently, throughout their investigation... Mgostupid posters are so stupid.

makes sense then to ban someone merely for mentioning their religious affiliation in a thread.

mgostupid: taking stupidity to new heights.

Red_and_guilty: taking defending Mgostupid to new heights.

I expected the ban, honestly. I got after one poster pretty good and took shots at the East Coast element of the M student body.

Got banned about 18hrs later but also had quite a few 'likes' on my posts.

Temp ban or perma ban? I think most bans are 1-month.

Haven't tried logging in again in a while, so don't know.

I think, the way they do most temporary bans is to assign -1,000,000 points that expire in a month, so you can log in, but can't post. If you can't even log in, you're probably done with that account.

we only ban people here if they welch on bets and are jerks about it.

Couldn't care less about being banned there. The site content is good, the message board very silly. Entire threads there like a zyxt post here go on for pages ...all speculating about things that haven't happened and won't. I had fun goofing around with that topic but never really liked interacting with that board's regs.

DenverWolverine is a particularly dorky poster

I've honestly found myself over there more often lately (since the coaching search, specifically). It's odd because I wasn't ever even an occasional browser over there in the past.

But I think considering how totally unsatisfying last football season was, combined with the Harbaugh excitement, I've been really eating up all the nonsense.

I only go there when someone here mentions something about it.

I don't know if it's because I'm not logged in, but I find the organization of their message board really awful.

I think Brian had the coaching search covered as well as or better than almost anybody.

Like the site, not the message board. Occasionally someone posts a good thread and/or has actual insight but not often.

I think I asked who had seen Tyrone Wheatley play in person and no night poster had. Suddenly the next day the grown ups all reply with yes ...and Rick leach & AC, etc.

Speaking of MGoBlog, does anyone know what that [Possible, but unconfirmed, legal situation] is about? They wiped the 116 posts. I guess we don't need to spread hearsay either, but is it bad news? How bad?

edit: bad news. Player in typical college-type trouble.

what is "college-type" trouble? he turned in a paper late? cheated on a test? passed out drunk on the front steps of the Grad Library? fraternity prank go awry? food fight in the dorm? underage daughter of the mayor at a toga party? double secret probation?
