It takes a special kind of incompetence to give up 292 passing yards & 4 passing TDs when you're sitting on a 27 point lead heading into the quarter.

How was that even possible? Sit in a prevent defense, run long sweeps for negative yards on offense and time should run out. you almost have to TRY to give up that many points/yards in a Q

Lol, i just rewatched every throw Rosen made and in the second half during those comebacks A&M was in position for at least 4 interceptions that they just plain dropped. Rosen was definitely threading needles but due to his risk taking A&M helped him out a ton.

They lost their qb, but what happened to their defense? Complete collapse on defense!

They stopped running the ball is what everyone is talking about. They had 383yds on the ground and abruptly stopped and started passing with the new qb. This is what I heard as I had only watched the last drive of the game.

For sure, the dude was chucking it. Tech also couldnt stop with the interference penalties. That helped UT right along.

my theory is these Texas schools have the worst possible boosters... all super arrogant oil billionaires, real estate developers, etc. And they all compete against eachother, throwing money and influence around, leading to all sorts of unrealistic timelines & goals, and disfunctional athletic departments.

the only people that benefit are the developers... they get the contracts to build ridiculous stadiums, locker rooms, etc etc

case in point: link. regent in question is a high-profile local attorney though.

I don't think Sumlin is a great coach, but how can you trash a guy like that when (according to the article) he's produced A&M's best 5 year run since the early 90's?

at least give him til the end of the season.
