Other games Week 12

We're going to have to agree to disagree on this one. Outside of 4 plays that totaled 263 yards, Maryland has managed to generate 75 total yards on 22 plays which is only 3.4 yards per play.

Yeah.

And outside of being the starting quarterback for a team with five Super Bowl wins, Tom Brady has been the starting quarterback for a team with four Super Bowl losses.

That?s only zero wins in four chances.

Maryland -24
Ohio State - 17
Maryland put up 337 yds of offense vs Ohio State in the 1st half
Ohio State fumbles away at a chance of 7 pts at the end of the half.

So by your logic Michigan was getting "gashed" by Rutgers last week? I don't understand what your point is to arguing this. When Maryland has been forced to use more than 1 play to score, they have only been able to do so once.

Edit: And I do agree that Brady is the G.O.A.T. and anyone that's unbiased would have to agree. But you pretty much proved my point. He's still had a successful career even though he's failed to win a super bowl more often than he's succeeded. I didn't ever say that they weren't playing well, just pointing out the fact that outside of a handful of plays they haven't done much on offense.

I would say Michigan was gashed on that one play.

Also a sustained drive isn’t a specifically quantified thing. What counts for a sustained it drive? Taking two first downs to score? Three first downs? four first downs? Five first downs? What if it’s team has a short field? How many first downs to call that a sustained drive?

I was editing my post to clarify when you were typing I guess. I think that we can agree on is that Maryland is playing well and Ohio State sucks. That's good enough for me to call it settled.

Yes.

As far as I?m concerned I don?t have a problem if Maryland scores a touchdown on its first play from scrimmage every time it gets its hands on the ball.

I'm perfectly fine if they continue to score without their offense even taking the field. Urban is likely to quit for "health reasons" tomorrow if his team keeps playing like this.

Yes I was going to say that next-Maryland kicks off, picks six, Kicks off and picks six and so on and so forth.

Or if the buckeyes just fumble every kick off and Maryland just scores every time it kicks off going forward, I?m fine with that too.

At least the refs are calling penalties on OSU. But MD is looking like they are back on their heals.

Damn, that was a helluva catch and effort to get his foot down in bounds by the OSU receiver, even if he did go out before the catch.

I have been saying they will pull it out. Too bad

While not playing well they are still better team

Rats

I would rather have them los
I no longer care about matching on equal ground. I want every advantage

I wonder if Mike Dantioni will go for 2 this week and take another safety.

That is a touchdown! How can you call him out at the 1??? Ref was standing right there.
