Watching Penn State and Maryland struggle, despite everyone praising and hyping them after the first two games, is exactly the reason I'm not ready to write off Michigan after a couple poor showings. Teams can bounce back just as easily as they can regress.

I never understood why David Shaw gets so much love. He basically maintained the previous steam from the Harbaugh regime, and the team has been sliding downhill since.

He's a good recruiter and he did maintain, but it's at Stanford. That would be pretty hard to do competing with USC, UCLA, and Oregon for kids out there that have to have the grade.
