Other Games Week 4

ND looked solid. Georgia would beat us by 50.

His time mangement at the end of the 1st half cost them points and his play calling at the end wasn't too great. He was waiting for the Irish luck to kick in, but it never did. I thought they could have won that game. They totally controlled the 1st half.

ND-GA was a whole 'nuther level of play. Book looked stoic and solid in the pocket. Reminds me of Tom Brady. Even from (very roughly) the same area of CA.

They could have. They made some mistakes and probably left points on the field. Still, they went into an extremely tough environment and looked on the same level as Georgia. They'll remain in the thick of the playoff race.

...meanwhile in Ann Arbor we have the "speed in space" now that you guys wanted. we're in the playoff race for the loser's bracket now.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the offensive style. Every single championship level team runs this. There is the possibility that Harbaugh made the wrong hire to run it.

Or it could be the fact that our o-line is overrated again and our QB can't find a WR no matter how wide open they are. System doesn't matter much when your QB can't find anyone.

To be fair, the o-line probably looks worse than it really is because Shea can't find anyone quickly.

They play calls are working. There are receivers open every single play. The QB is missing them. Patterson just isn't playing very well. It's unfortunate that he is the best Michigan has.

Damn wish I had stayed up now.

I watched most of the 2nd & 3rd Quarters and turned it off when it was 49-24.

Wazzu had just fumbled, but on the replays it looked like his elbow was down and the fumble would be overturned, and the announcers agreed.

I turned it off and went to bed.

I guess it wasn't overturned though, and that was the start of UCLA scoring 50 points over the remaining 20 minutes to win.
