Packers bitching about Suh "stomp"

I would say he doesn't get suspended for this...but because Raiola's thing happened just last week I don't know. I think it helps a little that Rodgers just kept playing. He didn't flail around and they needed an injury time out to look at the damage, etc.

As much as he's Suh and his past, and Raiola, I don't think they take a playoff game away..

I only seen the video in slow motion, never seen the live video till now. I change my stance of the second step looking malicious. I just can't tell, I mean from that short clip he never even looks back. How does he even know he's about to step on Rodgers and how does he know what part of Rodgers he is stepping on? The second step looks like it is an attempt to keep his balance after Rodgers pulls his leg away from the first step. He does seem to push off harder than normal when he walks off though.

He steps down and then grinds his foot into the ankle. Are you trolling me or punking me..I can't tell.

I'm not doing either one. I think it was intentional, but there is enough possibility that it wasn't that I think nothing is going to be done about it.

I just went back and looked at it a number of times, and I agree with your description in post 18-he lifted his other leg and put all of his weight on the leg that was on Rogers momentarily. I don't know if I would describe that as "driving" or "grinding" but that's just getting a little Symantec anyway.

It looked probably intentional to me, but there's enough of a possibility that it wasn't that I think Suh will get a pass.

Because he stepped on him once..I would think players would be aware at that time. But he did do a grind..at least to me that seemed obvious.

Though I don't think he gets suspended. The problem would be if he gets fine, that basically saying "you're guilty."

You can see he kinda loses his balance when he takes that second step, I don't think he meant to make that step directly on Rodgers leg. However, after he has taken the step and has his foot on Rodgers leg you can see his entire body lift. That tells me he put a good bit of weight on his heel which is the part of his foot that is stepping on Rodgers. That is the part that looks dirty.

I thought so too. He even pushed in a bit. I know the league is soft these days but that was a bush move..

agree. also... this would not be out-of-character for him.

This is my favorite quote from Caldwell.

"I didn't see it and I don't think it was intentional, either," Caldwell said.

If Caldwell didn't see it, how does he know it wasn't intentional?

"I get briefed on it and guys look at it and tell me what they saw and what they thought," Caldwell said. "Don't think it's intentional, end of story."

the Detroit Lions = Undisciplined trash

the Detroit Lions = 1 and done

watch it again. The second "step" he intentionally lifts his other leg in the air to place all of his weight on the foot that is on AR's leg. Watching it live yesterday I thought it was intentional with a slight possibility of it being an accident. Watching it again today...I'm 100% sure it was intentional.

OMG, he lifted his other leg while trying to walk... call the press about it.

how else is he supposed to move forward? can you walk without lifting one of your legs at some point?

People are funny eh?? lol

He was already stepping forward; normal walking forward would have entailed lifting the leg that was on top of Rogers rather than lifting the leg that was already in the process of walking forward.

It seemed intentional to me, but it more of an "F_ _ _ U" to Rogers than an intent to injure him; kind of like a kid on a playground.

I could see him getting hit for an unsportsmanlike penalty if an official had seen it at the time; but I've seen shit like that all the time in the NFL that isn't made that big of a deal of.

I miss the good old days where QBs and WRs got their heads knocked off regularly. You can barely breathe on them now and there's a flag and fine coming.

Yeah even that call against GB yesterday for the hit to Staff's head that lead to Calvin's TD on the next play was ridiculous. If I walked up to a new born baby in a restaurant and hit it that hard no one would even bat an eye.

ESPN reports Ndamukong Suh could be suspended for stepping on Aaron Rodgers in Sunday's loss.
Suh's Sunday step wasn't as vicious as some of his past transgressions, but it's his past transgressions that are the issue. A suspension almost certainly wouldn't be on the table if not for Suh's history of outrageous on-the-field behavior. A Suh ban for the Wild Card round would be a crippling blow for Detroit's odds of upsetting the Cowboys in Dallas.

Using slow motion for things like this is retarded. I didn't think it was as egregious as most are making it out to be. I wonder if that Packer defensive linemen will get fined for clubbing Stafford in the head? It sure looked bad in slow motion.

Did you see it? He drove his foot down. How is that reasonable doubt?

yeah in slow motion Mitch, C'Mon man it was only intentional due to the history and fcking Riolia magnified is all, Suh shouldn't be fined or suspended for this one but I'm sure he will be because it's the dirty lions ya know. everybody's sacrificial lamb

In a way, it's like he can't seem to help himself; he's like the scorpion in the legend of the scorpion and the frog...
