Paris Notre Dame Cathedral on Fire

I saw Him this morning in the form of the Blessed Sacrament and consumed Him, as He desires, me, and everyone on Earth, to do. Pretty compelling image there, I have to admit.

"I say to the Lord, 'You are my Lord;
apart from you I have no good thing.'
"
-Psalm 16:2

a sentiment shared by many a Michigan football fan in these "wilderness years" which as far as we can remember, began in January 2004.

A sentiment not shared by ME, of course. I'm not as fortunate as the believers... I'm just a molecule of water in the River of Life, flowing past for all eternity...

Well, as compelling as it might be, if that really is Jesus......then Jesus Christ, that guy has really let himself go since being crucified. But then again, I suppose heaven would have endless supplies of stuff like Twinkies, Burrito Supremes, and KFC so it's probably not all his fault.

No, Heaven is much more than that. And something rather different and not at all like Earth.

Byco is right.

Dining in Heaven is a lot more like this:

I guess technically this is more like purgatorial dining.

All water on Earth was once dinosaur urine. (Nearly all anyway. Post dinosaur meteors bring water that wasn't, for example.)

Since I know that life began in the oceans billions of years before dinosaurs existed, I know that this is wrong. you are wrong.

How does that change anything? Sure, it may have been some other kind of pee before it was dino pee, but it was also dino pee at some point.

I don?t know...the only scientific record we have that the dinos peed in the ocean is from when they did in while surfing in the Pacific in Southern California in the afternoon, after having been skiing in the local mountains in the morning.

Now I saw Jurassic Park and I didn't see no dinosaurs skiing or surfing. Opening doors, yes. Cleaning toilets, yes. Eliciting stupid reactions from Laura Dern, yes. So I think you got your facts about as good as that movie.

The book, however, is another topic altogether. It was great.

Do you consider seeing the movie one of the many sins you've committed during your life?

There wouldn?t have been skiing there because they were on an island in the Tropics so they wouldn?t of had snowy mountains like we have here in Southern California.

I understand there were surfing scenes but they were left on the cutting room floor. The producers decided they didn?t want anyone confusing Jurassic Park with Gidget.

I wanted the T-Rex to eat everyone in the first 5 minutes and roll credits. That would have been awesome.

Maybe it was god's pee? Presumably, the Christian god.

That's how the Christian god created life on Earth, by peeing on it, thereby giving the complex amino acids that form the building blocks of DNA a solution in which to develop into self-replicating proteins.

French Senate: Notre Dame Cathedral must be restored to the state it was before the fire.

Tear it down and put in an American-style strip mall, with a Subway, dry cleaners, Kroger's, Rite Aid, and an empty storefront that used to be a video rental store, & had a porn section in the back.

You obviously are not the targeted audience ...

Imagine turning into an Edmonton style mall.

You could even pay to have yours sins wiped away. But I doubt the Mafia would try that again.... kinda backfired on them in the end but they made such a killing on that protection racket.
