I went to the Big 10 championship game a few years ago at Lucas Oil. We had seats in the highest deck but only a few rows back. We were in the corner of the end zone. They were actually great. We could see everything really well. The problem with B-ball is the actual backboard is in the way for a lot of the action when you are behind it.
Agree to disagree here. I've sat behind the backboard in Banker's Life about 100 times and could see everything just fine. No big whoop.

the most common complaint I hear about football is the nearly guaranteed 4 hours in the stadium. Cost is getting worse but its still a bargain compared to pro sports, at least out here where season tickets to a Giants box cost more than a house in most of the country.

I go to MSU (and most years, uofm) at Ruthers for below face value but I would prob still go if i had to pay full price because they're not that expensive, the stadium is so small there isnt a bad seat anywhere and its easy to get in and out. But the 4 hour game time is still brutal. The only way i would still be a season ticket holder is if i actually lived within a half hour of Spartan Stadium - any further and the couch, climate control, proximity to bathroom and snacks and the dvr win.

its not just the backboard. I've been to the upper boxes at the Garden for a basketball game and the floor and players looked so small - and MSG is tiny compared to a dome, i cant imagine how bad some Final Four seats arr.
