Peters transfers to Illinois

You really think that I've neglected this affliction for 22 years? I'm mildly insulted. None of them can determine the cause nor the remedy. So, I offer it up to Christ and suffer with Him and for Him.

Well since he isn't helping, have you considered Odin as an alternative?

I'm not praying for the affliction go away. I'm praying for it to have redemptive value for others. Never surprised at the cavalier nature in which people dismiss someone's fervent belief in God -- the suffering of those who do as a result. Or in the disbelief that suffering can actually have supernatural benefit. Perhaps it's a condition derived from not having faith in the first place. I would wish what I have on no one.

Try consulting Bertrand Russell instead.

Just a little joke man.

Wish you would be able to find a remedy to alleviate it.

Sorry for the snarkiness in my QB post. I had no idea that you suffered through migraines.

Now I just wish Coach Harbaugh had or would repair the RB position like he has with the QB position. That is going to be an adventure this year.

I don't think Truuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu is the answer there.

No apology needed for a great explanation. RB's going to be a "????????"

Just forget that I brought the entire topic up. I have been disabused of my original position. Not on meds, but a 24-7-365 migraine since 1997 may have affected my observations.

Something else happened in '97. Did you make some kind of deal?

Yes. The RB position is a mess.

Michigan has a Senior former Walk-on 2* recruit in Tru Wilson

and

a true freshman by the name of Zach Charbonnet who was a 4* recruit in high school last year and got injured and missed spring practice. He will supposedly be ready to go come summer camp, but still that is a thin position

They have a few more RB's, but no one of note.

Turner got some PT last year, so hopefully he can step up.

I have not been excited about the coaches talking about Ben VanSumeren at RB. Moved to RB from FB this year. It will not be ideal to see Tru and him as the 1 and 2 RBs.

Oh right

Christian Turner. I did forget about him.

He is a sophomore, former 3 * recruit

I guess that might be why I said, no one of note

He did have 1 good run in the bowl game.

I find it really strange how hard of a time we are having getting good running backs . We use to have no issues finding a stud RB. I guess we will have score by throwing a lot !

We got some good recruits they just didnt make it. I can think of 5 that were hyped but transferred for one reason or another.

Going back to Justin Fargas, M has had some issues with RB. There was that RB who could not shake the weed, don't remember his name. Mike Hart is the last standout. Before that, Anthony Thomas. Denard was a QB. Michigan should draw RBs like ants to a picnic.

Yes this is true we have gotten a lot of Rb?s with a lot of hype coming out of high school but they seem to flop when they get on campus. Maybe we need to change recruiting evaluations for Running backs ?

Kevin Grady 2009 comes to mind. Kelly Baraka 5 star 2001. I had forgotten about him. Sam Mcguffie, Kareem Walker was a huge bust. Wasn?t he a 5 star ?

Our o-line being bad for a decent period probably has something to do with it as well. It's not like we put starting caliber o-linemen in the league on a regular basis anymore.

2019 - Zero drafted
2018 - Mason Cole
2017 - Zero
2016 - Graham Glasgow
2015 - Zero
2014 - Michael Schofield
2013 - William Campbell
2012 - David Molk
2011 - Stephen Schilling
2010 - Zero
2009 - Zero
2008 - Jake Long

We have not had multiple OL drafted since 2001 and only 7 total in the past 12 years. Pretty freaking terrible.

Yeah, Kelly Baraka, that's who Byco was referring to.

I actually met him at a party on campus. he was a little shorter than me (I'm 5'10") and really slender... I couldn't believe he was a five star RB recruit. I figured his speed and quickness had to be off the charts to compensate, because I couldn't see him running anyone over, even me.

It is really surprising how many busts we have had over the last decade and a half. compare to OSU during that time... or even MSU.

Whoever has been the point man for our RB recruiting (Fred Jackson? he's been there most of this time) has done a terrible job.
