We all know what Stafford is at this point. He has a lot of talent, but just can't seem to put it altogether for a season to truly be great. Yes it's not all on him, and yes he needs his teammates to help him out. I just have not seen anything to make me believe that he's on the level of the top QBs in the game just because he's missing a piece here or there. He is inconsistent game-to-game and season-to-season. You can take any QB you want from any season and point out the flaws they had on their team. Every team has a weakness somewhere.

The results just haven't been there, and it's a results oriented league.

Nah...just did a quick look at the starting QBs in the league and it was easy.

He had a wonderful second half. Not to many people are arguing that. If he can finally put something together for a full season than we can talk maybe top 10. First 7 years suggest he is very streaky and that won't happen. But it could be the year.

Seems like people are still rating him on his potential and what he is capable of as opposed to what he has done.

We could pull every year and see where he ranked in completition %, QB rating, TD to INT ratio. But somehow I think the slaps would suddenly find fault with that so...whatever.

And all the haters can do is bring up his second half of last year to give him some type of credibility. It's a vicious circle. He's a good QB and we're lucky to have him. He's not Brady or Rodgers........BUT........he isn't Geno Smith or Mark Sanchez either. Get it? Probably not...
