Pistons 100 Suns 92 Final

I think Morris plays real hard.. I hope it continues.. He said some nice things about Van Gundy so maybe it will work... It is so weird seeing both him and his brother on the court at the same time..

Since you're the resident Suns fan, I can't really argue too much.

But from what I've known as an outsider, even before he was traded here, was that most people thought he was underused in Phoenix. Maybe not to the extent he was underused in Houston but still not to his potential. Do you think that's the case at all??

Between that and taking less money (along with his brother) only to be traded away the next year without a phone call maybe he has a reason to be pissy.

Even if everything I just mentioned was/is false, Morris and his brother are perfect examples of why players don't take less money to benefit a team. No loyalty in business.

I understand wanting to beat your old team and having a big chip on your shoulder. But the NBA is a business. He and his brother have been overly bitter since getting traded, calling out fans and putting down the franchise. There was a great opportunity to pursue LaMarcus Aldridge on the FA market by clearing up cap space, it didn't pan out though unfortunately but Tyson Chandler is a good add. He was fairly used I thought, but with PJ Tucker, Markieff Morris, rookie TJ Warren all being better than him it's tough to compete for minutes. I think he'll be a better fit with the Pistons, not saying he will keep up his current play, but he has some pending legal issues in Phoenix and wore out his welcome.

Nice insight that I probably wouldn't have heard elsewhere. Thanks much :)

P.S. I still own a Dan Majerle jersey from when I was about 12. I think that makes us step brothers or something.
