Pistons 108 Mavs 95 Final

D.J. Augustin was called for two fouls in a row which were bad in the fourth.. He was T'd on the second and was pissed... Score was 81-77 after Dirk makes the tech.. Rondo Misses and D.J. hit a three... the another miss and D.j hits another three... Pretty much iced the game..

Three games behind Miami for the eighth spot..

SVG Quote:

Stan Van Gundy had an explanation for his Detroit Pistons' dramatic turnaround:

Practice.

Specifically, three days of practice from Dec. 22-24. Since then, a team that was 5-23 has become the NBA's hottest team, with a seven-game winning streak.

"From then on, it's just been different," Van Gundy said. "They've worked harder. They've been more attentive. A lot more together. We don't have guys that are getting concerned about who's in the game, or their playing time, or their shots."

Translation: "We released Josh Smith on December 22nd because he was a chucker and a cancer"

So this means the Pistons are still the NBA Champs today, right?

Baby steps T... Baby steps T...

Also it was funny listening to some ESPN guys using sarcasm about the refs in Dallas
last night with the hoops game...... Look I would have us be 5-30 to have a Lion win...
But no reason not to be happy about it..

The best thing about Josh Smith being gone is they can actually see if Drummond and Monroe can co-exist.
