What can I say?

55 catches for an even 800 yards and 3 touchdowns...in 8 games. What an amazing signing. I was excited to get him in Detroit, but I had no idea he'd be this good.

I just hope Matt remembers him when Calvin is healthy.

Exciting player to watch, plus he actually holds onto the ball.

Tate and a healthy CJ is going to be fun to watch as long as Stafford works through his progressions.

I'm excited as a Lions fan, but especially when a co-worker traded me Tate the very week Calvin got hurt.

What a damned nice handcuff to have.

Tate has been much better than expected. Coming in, I had heard that he's a good #2 WR / slot guy, but he's basically been a good #1 since CJ went down. I've been very impressed with his hands, his routes, and his ability to get YAC. Very nice signing so far.

Golden Tate set a Lions franchise record for consecutive games with 7+ receptions(6 straight). Breaking the former record of 5 straight games set by CJ and my favorite Lion receiver to date, Brett Perriman.

unreal that with all the targets CJ gets each game that he wouldn't have a streak much longer than that. on the flip side, Staff throws the ball 10 yards beyond anything even CJ can catch and they consider that a target, so...

If I remember correctly, Tate should be at 66 catches and 920ish yards. Incredible.

310 yards in the 4 games with Calvin. 77.5 per game. That's still 1,240 yards. This isn't a missing Calvin thing either. It's a Tate is really good thing. We have two legit 1,200 yard receivers on this team. Great signing

was a great sign to keep him involved even with calvin back....15 yards in the first half was a little worrisome though....not gonna lie. Offense still sucked ass....but was a good sign. Need Moar weapons.

I still think the offenses struggles is based on play call and tempo issues. I liked the play action bomb on first down for CJ's td but then they stopped again. It makes no sense. Keep your foot on the gas. They went very conservative with early down runs and really no attempts to push it deep. It was a little frustrating.

Not this past week.

3 sacks....1 was his own damn fault trying to outrun Cameron wake. Clean pocket most of the game.....staffords terrible pocket presense causes most pressure. Another sack he tried escaping the pocket instead of climbing the pocket and ran right into a de....smart!

Yeah, what a dick, how did he not see him chasing him?

the better question is how do you not see reggie bush RIGHT INFRONT OF you running WIDE THE FUCK OPEN for an easy first down. hmmmm....keep it and run for a 1st down with my slow ass penquin feet. Or flip it to a fast black man that is known for his big play ability....hmmmm......what a dick, indeed.
