any thoughts on who you'd want to see? i don't think any of the 4 stand out as being so much better than the others, hard to tell without playing common opponents, etc. Bama's brand is scary, Oklahoma looked good recently, but their two big wins were against 2nd string qb's, haven't seen clemson a lot. I don't really have a preference

I've seen some suggest that we move up to 3 and play Alabama (maybe more a desire to manipulate things so that Bama and OU don't play until the final). I think more likely we stay at 4 and play Clemson. I think we match up better with Alabama. They can throw it some but mostly just want to run Henry down your throat all game, and we've been pretty good at preventing teams from doing that. The offense would need to improve tons before that as their defense is considerably nastier than Iowa's.

Clemson made a believer out of me tonight and they could be a tough matchup. I only watched a little of the game, and the final score was somewhat close but they were in control most of the way. They had almost 600 yards of offense, nearly 300 each running and passing with two runners over 100 yards (well one of them was the QB). And their defense is pretty good too. Very well-rounded team.

I'd like to avoid Oklahoma. Bama is one dimensional, stop Henry and you win...that's much easier said than done though haha the guy is a beast!

I watched Clemson play Notre Dame and snuck in a few minutes during the game against UNC. I don't think they've played a physical team like us all year.

My prediction for the 4 tomorrow is as follows.
1. Clemson
2. Bama
3. MSU
4. Oklahoma

No way the committee doesn't put Bama and MSU in the first round, seeing as though Saban coached here. Nice storyline that'll draw people in. It's all about ratings at the end of the day.

Florida's defense is as good as any and they definitely made him work for his yards, but he still ended up with 189, albeit on 44 carries. Would be an interesting matchup for sure.

We would need a healthy Cook against Bama as their front 7 would likely make it pretty tough on our running game.

I want to play the team that passes the least. Im kind of thinking Alabama as well.

I think Florida had them bottled up for a while but broke because they were on the field all game. Their offense went almost 25 minutes without a first down and gassed the defense

Florida defense was a fast, hard-hitting crew until it collapsed from exhaustion. As you said, it got zero help from the offense. Based on that, I think Spartans match up pretty well with Bama. Your D can control Henry, much like Florida's did in the early going, and your offense will be more effective than Gators'.

Looks to me as if Cook needs another couple of weeks for his shoulder to get better. That will help.

Congrats on win last night. Another nailbiter. Nobody can say that Dantonio teams don't play for 59 minutes and 60 seconds.

we won't know the real story with Cook but I'd assume that he was just off a little bit but then he took a few big hits and that changed things

Don't sleep on Bama's QB. That guy showed an arm yesterday. Made some impressive throws.

Bama's quarterback isn't terrible, but he's definitely not DeShaun Watson or Baker Mayfield. If Clemson is the opponent they'll be the biggest test our defense has faced this year, including Oregon.

Ouch. Worst case scenerio. I Woulda wanted to stay at 4 and play Clemson.

Bama opened as 9 point favorites. Like the matchup though. We weren't going to get an easy team, all 4 teams in the playoffs are great.
