Playoffs

Vikings 3-3 gets them to 8-7-1. That is likely
Packers 4-2 gets them to 8-7-1
Seattle 3-3 for 8-8
Washington 2-3 for 9-7
Dallas 2-3 for 9-7 and only one of Dallas or Washington has to do 2-3. Prefer Washington
Carolina 3-3 for 9-7. And lions have tiebreaker

How is this not likely in your eyes

I get the lions win 5 in a row thing, you are haters and will never actually root for the lions, but all those other teams can be at 9-7 or 8 wins

There is a difference between rooting for the Lions and fantasizing about things that aren't likely at all. You like to entertain (in an obviously trolly way) the best case scenario against all odds. But you can be a realist and still for root them on Sundays. You should try it sometime.

This one failed already..

Seattle loses to at panthers, Vikings and chiefs for 8 losses

You have no concept of probability clearly. Taken separately each of these six separate items may appear "likely" if we're being generous. However taken collectively as a group that all of them MUST occur for the Lions to make the playoffs it becomes very unlikely.

Let's just imagine for giggles that each of your 6 items listed has a 90% chance of happening (which is absurd to begin with). That still means there is only a 47% chance that ALL of them will happen. So even in looney tune land the Lions are more often than not missing the playoffs.

Try harder.

Carolina and packers lost. This very much helps detroit still. Not every scenario has to happen hence two wikd card slots. Vikings and seattle, one of them can go 2-3 to finish the season. Skins 2-3 is likely or even 3-2 is not a death blow. Carolina can go 3-2 now since they lost. Gb just needs one more loss

Vikings: at Patriots, at Seattle, Dolphins, at Lions, Bears. 2-3 is probable
Redskins: at Eagles, Giants, at Jaguars, at Titans, Eagles. 2-3 is probable
Seattle: 49ers, Vikings, at 49ers, Chiefs, Cardinals. 2-3 not as probable but we don't two wild card spots. Just one. Vikings and Chiefs can beat Seattle but I think we want Seattle to beat Vikings. Then Vikings lose to Pats and Lions.
Carolina: at Bucs, at Browns, Saints, Falcons, at Saints. 3-2 is probable
Cowboys: Saints, Eagles, at Colts, Bucs, at Giants. 2-3 is also probable here if Redskins don't go 2-3. Even 3-2 Redskins and Lions have a playoff shot
Eagles: Redskins, at Cowboys, at Rams, Texans, at Redskins. 3-2 would be lucky for them with that schedule.

Basically Seattle and Lions can be the wild card teams.

I know you all want them to lose out. But the Lions can win out with Marvin and Kerryon back and Ziggy finally healthy

Most probable finish to the season:

boYng2G.jpg

Lions win the toughest division in football with 3 teams making the playoffs from the NFC north.

Lions get their revenge on the bears and the refs on the heroic left arm of Stafford, after a missed roughing the passer call on Mack fractured Stafford's right in 7 different places.

After the dismantling the Lions gave to the Rams in week 13, Rams refuse to show up and lions get a bye in to to NFC championship.

Saints are no match for the hefty lefty (right arm still in cast) as Stafford outperforms Brees in an epic shootout. 96-92.

Just wait to you see what happens in the Superbowl!

Could the Bears lose out at 8-8, Lions win out, Vikings go 2-3 and Packers 4-1 losing to Lions only in Week 17 for the division.

Lions 9-7
Vikings 8-7-1 (losing to at Lions, at Patriots and at Seattle)
Packers 8-7-1 (losing to Lions)
Bears 8-8

Division would be the Lions

Buffalo will clown stomp this team

Lions win out beating rams, at cards, at bills, Vikings at packers
Bears win north
Vikings lose to bears, at patriots and at lions for 8-7-1
Panthers lose 3 of 6 for 9-7. Lose tiebreaker to lions. They play stud saints twice by the way
Seattle loses to at panthers, Vikings and chiefs for 8 losses
Redskins go 2-3 or worse. They have eagles twice, giants, at titans, at Jacksonville.
Dallas wins NFC east
Packers lose to Vikings or bears or falcons and lions for 8-7-1

9-7 lions still have a good shot
Falcons already have 7 losses so lose one of five, Eagles are 4-6 so lose 2 of 6, Bucs have 7 losses so lose one

Win over panthers could be huge

Two wildcards so one of those scenarios doesn?t necessarily have to happen

What you have posted isn't what is most probable. It is what you would like to see happen.

Basically you agreed with me on other teams except you think Vikings beat the Bears. Vikings lose that game and they miss the playoffs at 8-7-1. And Seattle can go 10-6 and Lions can make playoffs. Over the Panthers at 9-7 and Vikings at 8-7-1

Lions can win out. One game at a time.

But you thinking the Lions can win out is moronic. The most probable outcome for the Lions is losing 2 more games. It is very possible that they lose 3 more.

I didn't say that was probable. I said the other scenarios at 2-3 and 3-2 for those teams were. Lions can win out though. It has a decent chance

Rams and Vikings are at home
Cardinals, Bills and Packers suck

It’s on it next season sadly. Even if we do finish 9-7 we will probably lose out on tiebreakers . Sadly it’s on to next season. Lose the rest games and get a easier schedule next season. I think we play the afc west next season.
