Potential for playoff #1 seed

Much too early for this #1 seed talk I agree, next three games are going to be the test could easily be 3 straight loses and everybody back on the ledge just hoping for a wild card spot still...I say at least take 1 of the next three then I think they'll be in good shape still but one week at a time

I agree.. As Lions fans we should know better then post this until it is a much closer possibility...

original post was made during the BYE week, a time for dreaming like the preseason.

now it is time to get re-focused on the tough road ahead. hopefully they do no worse than 2-2 in this 3rd quarter, which is obviously their toughest quarter.

Much better? He looked like a fucking Nancy yesterday

Matt is Nancy a lot. Maybe you should look at numbers for the season, then numbers for the career. Rivers is more than much better..it's not even close.

Stafford is a winner once again. Makes clutch plays in second halves. Screwed by protection and run game right now and some injuries. He does his job and so does the defense to the tune of 6 wins in 8 games.

Correct defense has done well. But If winning games while he's at QB is considered a winner, clutch player then Tebow is just as good.

Tebow=Stafford

Playoffs: Tebow>>Stafford.

If that's your definition.

Stafford way more clutch and much better numbers than Tebow. Clearly you need to brush up on judging QBs.

Tebow 8-6, Matt 30-39. By your own definition Tebow is better. Not mine yours.

Screwed by protection and run game? I thought this was a complete team.

He is doing his job....just not at an elite level. He is doing it like every other average QB....kind of like Flacco, Andy Dalton, Eli and Alex Smith.

Injuries to Waddle and Bell/Bush/Riddick will get it going. Still complete.

No sacks against Falcons. Need to keep that going. Dolphins/Cards can bring it though. Calvin will help open things up.

At least 2 of those won SB and one other goes to the playoffs every year so far. I think Dalton is a fair example but he's at least more consistent. So Cincy knows what they're getting.

They have all had more success than Stafford.

Yep. But even if you go against LKP's "we're holeless", I'll take a decent consistent QB over a 1/2 good, 1 bad, 2 shitty, 1 good, 1 decent, 1/2 bad etc..

I thought last year looked like a shoe in...if they don't make it this year, then they really shit the bed.

The top dogs in the East have QB injuries, the South sucks, aside from Arizona the West is looking like nothing special, and GB might be the only competition in the North. Good year to take advantage of the situation in the NFC this year.

Yep. Another opportunity. They have some tough games but if they want to be a top team they need to compete and even win these games..I'm going to the Arizona game, I can either wear my Delmas jersey, LeShoure or Patrick Peterson..probably just wear a T-shirt.
