Prefer wins or top 10 pick?

Win games, and draft the right guys.

100%. Minnesota is living proof of this right now. They are truly building a good team there, and I really like how they've gone about doing it. Finding a star in Diggs has completely washed away the blown pick on Cordarelle Patterson.

Our team couldn't score vs the Raiders thru 3 qtrs....they aren't going to be sucessful this year :D

The Packers couldn't score on the Lions either. It's a new game every week.

I know it's likely that they will finish 4-12. But there's always hope.

Win.

Some of the best players in the NFL were drafted in the middle of the first round.....whoever said win and draft correctly nailed it.

Some may disagree but we're not the worse team in the NFL..therefore us picking in top 5 isn't realistic...we played the hard schedule in the first half..only one team (GB) has a winning record left on the schedule, the rest are 4-6..like it or not we will win more games

Win. We still have a shot at the playoffs with Falcons losing and everyone else 5-5 or 4-6. Atlanta can finish 2-4 or 3-3 (and Lions win tiebreakers). Pack could be 2-4 finish too (losing to Detroit). Go Bears this Thanksgiving.

And if we didn't get screwed over in Seattle we would be right in the mix at 4-6 with Seattle 4-6.

One game at a time. Beat Philly and get them to 7 losses first.

If losing is what it takes to get rid of Caldwell then I'm all for losing. A higher draft pick is just icing on the cake!

We can win with Caldwell and we have. He is going to need alot in the last 6 games to stay though.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Caldwell has already win enough to keep his job. :(

Our offense hasn't done anything but suck under Caldwell.

No. With the weapons he has, we should be a top offense. We were before he got here, and he added to it, and they got worse.

Time for him to go.

He hired Joe. He did nothing to correct the issues when Joe was struggling. He did nothing after Joe was fired. He's still not calling plays or installing a playbook and we have some cooter guy doing it all. He's destroyed this offense the same way he destroyed baltimore s.

Lombardi was a good hire and deserved a chance. You don't dump a guy after one year especially when you go 11-5 and reduce to 20 turnovers and make clutch plays in close games

Now cooter gets his shot

Lombardi did nothing in this league. ...ever. he still hasn't. We did dump him. What world do you live in?

But they also shut down a high powered offense for 4 quarters :)

a rb I never heard of. a qb that's not even best in his class. Michael crabtree. And a rookie potential star that cant hold onto the ball as of late. And a project at TE. That's hardly high powered lol....but I do give credit to the defense. Ill say it again...I have no idea HOW they are doing it....but they are getting the job done.

Lawson, Diggs and Quddus are covering very well. Less Ihedigbo. Lawson is scrappy and physical. Slay has always been a good cover guy along wiht Quin.

Decent pressure. More Whitehead and less Lewis was a change they made too. And less Tulloch in coverage.

They came into the game ranked 6th in the league in passing offense, and 11th (if I remember right) in rushing offense.

You can call them "high powered", "efficient", "greatest show on turf"... I don't care what catch phrase is preferred for what they are doing, but they are no slouch offensively, even with that rookie QB and developing TE.

The Lions shut them down.

Now, I honestly think the last two weeks were more product of circumstances than amazing defensive play, so I am still in wait and see mode. Green Bay was struggling and Oakland is a building team... weeks like this will happen no matter who the opponent is.

I don't know if we shut these teams down, or if we got lucky and caught them on a bad week. But to downplay those offenses is just wrong.
