Quiet week at the water cooler

The game wasn't called. Both coaches agree to stop it. Good try though.

You're right, I wasn't aware that it was a mutual decision, I thought it was called by the officials on the field. My point is that teams seem to get certain calls, rulings, etc, in their favor while playing at home. Is that cheating ? If it is then we are all guilty of it. Almost every game you will notice calls that go in the favor of the home team. It happens everywhere, even UM.

I don't know if I really believe in home field calls anymore. Usually the refs are from a different conference. And is it a home team call, or was is just a bad call that favored the home team? Who knows.

I think it was obvious that was your point; unfortunately, the evidence you cited to back it up was unfounded, so it really doesn't hold much water.

Obviously I don't have a statistic but it just seems the home team, let it be UM, MSU or anybody else gets a lot of suspicious calls. I don't know, maybe I'm just looking for it but I just believe home field advantage goes further than just the crowd. Chance just doesn't work for me here.

Yeah, that one didn't work too well for me.

I mean, I assume conference refs are biased, but that's why they usually have a neutral crew do OOC games or Bowl games.

But having you're own people working the clock, and then they give you a ridiculously long one second count there... I mean COME ON...
