Raiola reportdly told no thanks

I think the only 1st round draft pick I liked over the past 10 years is Suh. Of course, at that point in the draft a monkey would have made the same pick.
I'll give them 5/10 over the last decade that I liked or was at least okay with. The other five were strong hatred though.

2005 - Mike Williams - hated that we took a fat WR who had sat out a full season.
2006 - Ernie Sims - absolutely hated this pick at the time
2007 - Calvin Johnson - I LOVED this pick after seeing what an athletic freak he was at the combine. I wanted Calvin, AP, or Joe Thomas there, and any of them would have been fantastic.
2008 - Gosder Cherilus - hated that we took a no name OT who was like the 5th rated OT that year at #17.
2009 - Matt Stafford - I was fine with the pick. Hoped we could trade out of #1, but knew that was unlikely. We needed a QB and he was my favorite out of a fairly weak group.
2010 - Ndamukong Suh - I LOVED this pick. The guy was such a monster in college.
2011 - Nick Fairley - I liked the pick at the time because he was so talented.
2012 - Riley Reiff - I liked that we finally took an OL to replace Sackus. I think I wanted DeCastro at OG more at the time, but was fine with this pick.
2013 - Ziggy Ansah - I hated the pick at the time simply because he only had like 2yrs of football in his life. There were a few guys I wanted to take instead, but Ziggy has looked like a smart pick so far.
2014 - Eric Ebron - absolutely hated this pick. I wanted Lewan, one of the WRs, a CB, or just about anybody but Ebron.

2005 - Mike Williams - I was stunned by the pick and wanted to physically hurt Millen

2006- Ernie Sims - I liked the pick a lot, but really wanted Jay Cutler (oh shut up)

2007- Calvin Johnson - I really actually hated this pick. I wanted Joe Thomas badly. (shut up I said)

2008- Gosder Cherilus - Razor blades in the bathroom were starting to look good

2009 - Matt Stafford - Loved the pick. Didn't want ANYONE else at #1. Meh.

2010- Ndamukong Suh - There was no other pick, at all. I would have shit myself if we had taken Okung instead.

2011 - Nick Fairley - Loved the pick, but was shocked. Didn't see it coming. I was all in on Prince Amukamara.

2012 - Riley Rieff - every guy I thought we might get was gone (Dre Kirkpatrick, Shea McClellin, Luke Kuechly) I wasn't even sure what they might do anymore.

2013 - Ziggy Ansah - I wanted Bjoern Werner. Still do. Happy we got Ansah, who has been better.

2014 - Eric Ebron - Don't care if he runs sloppy routes, has bad hands, has the clap, or finger banged my wife... if we get rid of Droptimus Prime, I am happy with this pick. Can't say Ebron will be better than Prime, but there are very few people I despise worse than Droptimus.

I was on the Cutler wagon myself bro...lol. Him and the Prince (2011)

Warford levy suh and reiff were the only picks worth a shit since mayhew has been here and lived up to their value. Slay and ansah close to being worth a shit.

Sorry ass gm...

I'm really going to hurt myself with this one, but...

in 2005, I was hoping Pac-Man would fall to us or we would trade up for him.

2002 I wanted Peppers or Jammer, but knowing they wouldn't fall to us.. I was begging for Albert Haynesworth.

2003 I actually got my wish.. I wanted Charles Rogers.

And in 2004, I wanted Kenechi Udeze, and was convinced he could become the next Reggie White.

So what have we learned boys and girls? Ink cannot fucking evaluate talent.

That 2011 draft, what a waste

Fairley, Titus, Leshoure, Hogue, and Culbreath

Two of them arrested for pot

Titus went insane

Hogue couldn't even make it in the CFL

Fairley struggled with weight issues

Fairley and Stafford are good players. You left them off your lists.

we said "and lived up to their value." Stafford has lived up to the value of a 2nd - 3rd rd pick that makes about 8-10 mil per year.

4th-5th..

Ya I was thinking andy Dalton so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. But if I go Kyle Orton hes a 4th. Stafford stats are probably closer to Orton. Ryan Fitzpatrick would be the opposite of the benefit of the doubt and was a 7th. So Stafford pretty much brings you value anywhere from 2-7 rd value lmao.

Regardless, throw in the money staff makes and hes not worth his value....ever.
