Rams All In - now the OFFICIAL Super Bowl 56 Thread

Rodgers is not the best. Brady is. And Rodgers is lucky as **** and he will realize it when he leaves. He is an asshole and a thorn in lions side..**** him. Hope he never wins. That stupid smug smirk he gifes. I hope he gets slapped in the ****ing face

Or Stafford beats him

Brady and AR played in the same era

TB 64.2 comp %, 5.5 TD%, 1.8 INT%, 97.6 rating
AR 65.2 comp %, 6.3 TD%, 1.3 INT%, 104.5 rating

There's a lot more than regular season numbers there buddy. The numbers beyond that are so outrageously favored in Tom's direction that it's silly.

post season stats

AR 64.6 comp% 6.0 TD%, 1.7 INT%; 100.5 rating
TB 63.0 comp% 4.7 TD%, 2.1 INT%, 91.0 rating

Bradys first 8 years were not the same era

Rodgers folds in nfc champ games too

Couldnt lead many very good teams to more than one super bowl. Only won when packers had 2nd ranked defense in 2010

Rodgers is a fraud!

Dont come to the Lions board rooting for Aaron Rodgers. That should be a lifetime ban

i saw a cool facebook stat today. Tom has more playoff wins vs NFC teams than Arod.

Years in NFC
Arod 14 (as starter)
Tom 2

Lol, cmon man. There really is no debate that Tom is the GOAT. There used to be, but after the last couple of seasons there is no logical reasoning that the claim can be made.

I agree with Tom. I don't think Brady is the best QB ever. He is the Bill Russell of the NFL. Best player on some REALLY good teams. Yes. Best QB ever? IMO, no.

Put it this way. If you had 32 teams that had the exact same roster EXCEPT the quarterback position. You were the coach. You get the 1st pick of ANY quarterback in history.....who you picking?

I'm taking, in order.......

Rodgers
Peyton Manning
Drew Brees
Brady
Montana
Young

Big Group of like 10 guys after that.

Just my thoughts.

I put rogers skill over brady. But you can't really put a tag on the confidence and swagger he brings to a team. There's no way in hell Tampa Bay should have had that quick of a turn around. Not sure any other qb can do that....

Comparing him to Bill Russell is a really poor comparison. Russell doesn?t get GOAT consideration because his stats aren?t really GOAT worthy. Not even close really. That?s not the case with Tom. Tom is Bill Russell championships with MJ numbers. That?s why he?s the GOAT. Aaron only has one of those. Tom has it all. And with a rather poor receiving crew for most of it. I?m not ragging on any other QB. But when you have all the accolades with all the stats and the fact he did it not just on New England but with Tampa in a SINGLE year is crazy. To people saying it?s his supporting cast then what about this season? He barely had AB, Gronk missed a goood chunk, Godwin went down. Yet still MVP numbers. It?s not his talent man, it?s HIM.

How can you take a bunch of guys Tom dominated in the same era as? Lol

I think he's saying his teams were better.

Tom just wins. Preparation... hard work... studies the game.. all that.

I put arod and mahomes in a different category when it comes to skill of throwing the ball.

You like Tom Brady. Nothing wrong with that. My opinion is that Aaron Rodgers is a better QB. The raw numbers are on Rodgers side....there is almost no way you can debate that. He has better numbers almost across the board. Comp %, Yards/Attempt, TD%, INT% TD/INT rate, Rating....etc. Playoffs too.

Brady has 7 ****ing Super Bowls. That is mind blowing. I can't argue that. He wins.

My argument is pretty simple....Aaron Rodgers has more talent. If we we're just talking about rings.....there is no debate. I just believe there are a few guys in history that have more talent than Tom Brady.

If ever there was a position that required intelligence and wisdom in a sport, it has to be QB. The mental aspects of playing QB have to be considered at least equal to the physical aspects. Brady has the best QB brain ever, it isn't even close. It is also what has lead to his longevity.

Give me Brady over any QB because more often than not, Brady will win the chess match that is so important. He has lost his share too, but to win as much as he has over the span of time, he is the Grand Master at QB, because he is mentally better than any others (at this point in history).

Righto, no one is debating who has the best arm talent. Clearly Brady is not in that list. But he?s just so efficient especially in big games. He does whatever it takes to win and wins at a rate that nobody has ever seen or probably will ever see again. What he is doing at 44 alone is amazing. People keep throwing out qb rating and stats I get it, Aaron had slightly higher percentages and is probably the best in history and not throwing interceptions. That is awesome and also what makes him so great! But there are other qbs who prove that the raw stats are not everything when it comes to winning. A GREAT example is Kirk Cousins. Dude has some awesome years statistically also dude was playing on some absolutely LOADED Vikings teams early on. But he chokes in big games. Aaron Rodgers also has a bit of that. He is Stat Padford in games that don?t matter. But has consistently found ways to not get over the hump for most of his career. And Aaron has really had some great teams too. Loaded with players. I?d take Rodgers ina heart beat on my team. But he?s simply not in the same class as Brady. As Brady is in his own class.

At this point, not sure how you can make an argument against Brady not being the GOAT. He literally won a SB his first year away from the Patriots. He is playing like a top 3 QB in his age 44 season. They guy is just ridiculous and has literally created a new bar for sustained QB play and success. I doubt anyone ever surpasses what he has accomplished it has been that impressive.

Personally, Peyton Manning is my favorite QB of all time. I would love to say Peyton is the GOAT, but its just not true. Rodgers isn't even top 5. He may be the best regular season QB to ever play. That only means so much. He is 11-9 in games that truly matter. That means he has been knocked out of the playoffs 9 times in his career. Can't say he hasn't had talented teams because he has. Packers almost always have a good running attack and very good O-Lines. Hes had Jordy Nelson, Greg Jennings, Donald Driver, Randall Cobb, Davante Adams, and I'm sure I missed a few really good WR's. His defenses are solid more often then not.

They have ranked outside the top 20 in one of points allowed or total yards 10 times since he became the starter in 2008.

For the best QB of all time, he should have more then 1 SB appearance when hes made the playoffs in 10 different seasons.

Just made it easier for Stafford to host the nfc title game and super bowl sadly. Any day the packers choke is a good day but the 49ers and Tampa Bay are so banged up. Rams getting healthy at the right time.

Why is that sadly? Who here wouldn't want to see Stafford in a super bowl over Rodgers?
