Rams All In - now the OFFICIAL Super Bowl 56 Thread

All week I?ve been hearing the phrase ?Ram All In.?

Love it hate it or don?t care, appropos the season cumulates on this thread.

Stafford is definitely an above average quarterback. He?s proven he can be successful when he?s on a team that has been to the playoffs in two out of the last three years before he got there, and that was in the Super Bowl three years ago.

I wouldn?t never have been able to do that.

I thought it was a blatant hold by the lb.... true they didn't call it when Ramsey did it early. Blatant miss with the face mask on Ramsey. Stafford did what he does... late game heroics. Good game at the end. Not a great 3.5 qts by either team.

Stacked team. Wish Lions could have a stacked team.

That is exactly the point.. Either call It both ways or don?t throw that flag. The freaking nfl needs a damn sky ref so flags are not missed like blatant face masks. I disagree on linebacker hold. It was not as bad as missed face mask.

Also we heard all game on vaunted Bengals rushing attack and yet on 4th and short they are throwing the ball ? It makes zero sense because it was less then a yard.

This is an interesting comment because of how they did it. They drafted aaron Donald (because of the lions)
Drafted kupp
Traded for Ramsey
Traded for Stafford
Picked up OBJ in FA
Picked up Von Miller

Their gm took risks other GMs wouldn't and sacrificed alot of their future to win a trophy.

This team is not the same next year if aaron Donald retires, obj and von Miller leave.

According to lions fans we always did during the Stafford years. He has plenty of talent and weapons I was told.

And while the team was very talented. Let?s be real here. With higbee, Robert Woods and Odell out that offense was quite literally just cooper kupp and a bunch of bums for the whole game lol. It?s not like it was Gronk, AB, Mike Evans, and Chris Godwin out there.

Here?s a stat that will really blow Stafford haters minds.

Super Bowl wins

Stafford-1
Brees-1
Rodgers-1
Wilson-1

Like it or not?..Matthew Stafford will be a HOF?er.

They still had Donald and the Rams defense which clearly won the game for the Rams along with Matt and Cooper. The Lions only had 1 or 2 good defenses under Matt. Well they did have Tate and Calvin for a few years but sadly. Suh wasn?t Donald. Matt had 2 or 3 chances to win the North with those guys. Just a few damn players short like Lions always are.

Let's clarify hater ... cause I'm sure people lump me into that category. Matt Stafford is not raising the level of the people around him and willing a team to the super bowl. We saw that for 12 years here.... he can't do it and we have enough evidence of that. Even the haters have said he has enough talent to win a super bowl on a stacked team. Nick foles could have won a super bowl on the rams this year. He's still andy dalton to me. The only way he can change my mind is if aaron Donald retires, von Miller leaves, obj leaves.... and they win again.

Stafford raised Kupp never close to this, Calvin raised, Golden raised, Marvin and Golladay. All best by far with Stafford. Basically everyone

He is a hall of fame qb for sure now

Elite and a champion

So Stafford didn't win with detroit because they didn't put enough talent around him. He then goes to the Rams who mortgaged the next 5 years to bring in all the talent they could to make a 1-2 year run. He looked like the same qb to me. He went 3 and out 4 times and had 2 picks in in the 7 drives before that last drive. In my eyes he's still a good qb, not great. He'll likely end up in the hall of fame, but that doesn't really mean much in my opinion. I mean, the guy has never been in the top 5 at his position in any of his 12 years, right? That's an all time great?

Congrats to him and Ashawn tho. Robinson really looked great today

23 points...yippie. he had a great 4th qtr. His offense was terrible for half the game. His defense had like 7 sacks in the 2nd half. 2 more ints to add to his nfl league leading total. Kupp wins mvp. Donald probably 2nd. Stafford deserves credit for a great 4th qtr drive.... and that's about it.

Fringe hof player. Alot of stats... most of them meaningless. #2 defense and didn't sniff playoff success. 1 super bowl with a not so great offensive performance. One of the first qbs to have his entire career during the new offensive era of football. There' will be numerous guys that put up similar stats.

It wasn?t 1-2 years.

It was this year or bust.

A legendary Maverick sized riverboat gamble that paid off.

I didn?t think it would.

Rams bet everything - all in - they could win it all in one year with the not very tested, somewhat above average journeyman QB from the shit franchise who had never won anything.

Royal flush spades.

That said, Stafford was enough better than Goff to QB this team to a win.

Former Michigan Captain Tom Brady could have won this game for the Rams, throwing with his left hand, and throwing with his eyes closed every other pass.

Green Bay and Tampa Bay were better. Gb played a bad game. Tampa ran into injuries and were left with 0 around Tom. Rams had a bad 1.5 months... turned it on when it mattered.

Exactly.

I didn?t believe they could until they beat Tampa.

the 49ers would have most likely been in this game if that DB didn't drop the pass that Matt threw right to him 2 weeks ago.

Bengals and Rams both lucky they got to the game, and the crappy game kind of showed it.
