Rams All In - now the OFFICIAL Super Bowl 56 Thread

No he put them in positions to succeed. That?s why they only gave up 19 points. Great job on defense Stafford.

I understand you're just trying to be dumb for the fun of it.

Meanwhile people that actually understand football know that the sport depends on a offensive/defensive relationship. The fact is Stafford has played on 1 statistically good defensive football team. The fact is the first year on the rams the best defense in the league is now average. Part of it could be a new coach. Part of it definitely is Stafford and his decisions. Lkp cried for years that we never had good field position.... that's a qb problem not being able to extend drives.

Throwing interceptions and fumbling the ball away doesnt "set up your defense" for success. It's them being successful in spite of your shitty play.

Matt's first 8 games
2477 yards, 22 TDs, 5 INTs

last 8 games
2171 yards, 16 TDs, 10 INTs

typical Matt

38 tds. Stafford is the only reason they have a great shot to win the division

So? 5 games this season he's had a 2 or more TO's. Some pick 6's and the fumbles. I don't see Stafford any better than when he was here. You know why? Because he isn't. Really good QB's don't have that many bad games in a season. Fortunate for him pick 6's and fumbles loss don't ever passer rating.

Literally EVERY major media outlet is crushing Stafford and how much he's sucked the past 2 months. This is lkps time to shine and prove them all wrong. Be on the look out for all of the following:
meaningless stats, made up stats, ridiculous opinions passed off as fact, cherry picked pff stats etc etc.

Rams 12-4 and 38 tds. 3rd in passer rating in entire league..must be doing lots of things right. Just facts

Rams got a shot at Super Bowl because they traded for him

96 rating, 117, 139, 106, 46 and 96 rating last 6

He has been good last 6 games

He had one bad game and he still did enough to win that game

4 bad out of 16. Thats really good

Media is dumb

Passer rating means not a whole lot. It leaves too much out.

1, bad game, lol. So two INT, 1 a pick 6 and a lost fumble in the red zone is good these days? You funny LKP.

90.1. Do you what that number is his last 8 games. Matt has always been inconsistent.

What does Matt have to do to be considered good then? He?s second is passing yards, second in touchdowns, his team record is tied for second best in the league, currently leading his division but could lose it still. His running game is bottom ten, but yet they are a top ten offense (wonder why? Cooper Kupp is having a season like he?s never had until he had Matt as his qb. Meanwhile Marvin Jones and Kenny Golladay look pedestrian without him. He?s 3rd in yards per pass, hes 3rd in old qb rating and 4th in the new one. Also as everyone points out his defense isn?t as dominant. So if his running game sucks and his defense is just above average, I wonder who pushed them to 12-4 then? Y?all don?t make sense. He doesn?t have to have one of the best seasons ever at his position to be a good player. He?s currently kicking ass with a lot of good qbs in the league right now.

I haven't seen anyone say he's not good. The media narrative is he has elite arm talent that is going to piss a game away. Right now his mistakes means they barely beat bad teams... like the ravens by 1. Early exit due to bad Stafford means we get a better pick... which is what I'm hoping for.

Consistency. That's why he never got over the hump here. 90.1 for last 8 games is below average. He probably leads the league in pick 6's though that's just a guess. Goff's is 90 on this make shift team.

I saw a stat that he has more pick 6s this season than Goff in his career with the rams.

Rodgers and Pack barely beat Ravens. Does he suck too?

Near perfect rating would say, no he doesnt suck. If he stafforded the other team 6 points they would have lost. Thats the point.

C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT SACKS QBR RTG
Aaron Rodgers 23/31 268 8.6 3 0 3-18 82.9 132.2

All of the Stafford debate will be settled in the playoffs.

If he does well, the narrative will quickly become "he is great, just needed a good team"

If he doesn't.....its very much going to be on him.

Matthew Stafford's legacy will start to be written in the next 3-4 weeks. He will have a lot of pressure on him.....and he knows it.

Stafford is a hall of fame qb. You guys whiffed on your assessment of him. Just admit it. 12-4 and 3rd in qb rating..could be another 40 td year again

He absolutely will NOT be in the HOF without playoff wins. No way.

Right now, he's Jerry Stackhouse or Jamaal Mashburn. Numbers look good. No substance to them.

Matt still has a career 91 rating for anyone that cares about that, LKP. No playoff wins. only 3 teams got to payoffs, no awards, 1 pro bowl -- deep alternate. Only 3 years he got 30 TD's or more.
