Rangers @ A's

Don't call it yet; the Rangers still have three more outs, and some explosive capabilities.

Hamilton Ks to end the 8th. That's about it, Cabrera has the triple crown unless a miracle happens with Trout going 6-6 or better. Or Granderson or Dunn hitting 4 HRs.

Why this means so much to us Tiger fans has a lot to do with how Cabrera has been overlooked for his greatness for years. Sure he's been considered a top 10 player, but over the last 10 years only Albert Pujols has been better, and now he's passed Pujols in the last couple years. He's a all time great talent!

It's now just about what Trout does, Cabrera has to make sure he does not go 1-4 or something.

You really think he gets 4 at bats. The only reason he got 3 last night was because the first 2 were hits.

Yeah, smokes said the amount of abs miggy gets is totally dependent of what trout/hamilton does. I'm guessing 3 at max. But most likely a 1 at bat/curtain call.

No matter how many he gets, I'm saying Cabrera can still lose it if he loses BA points, assuming Trout gets close.

It's not the same as saying Trout needs to go 6-6 or he cant win, because it's still going to come down to how they both do, not just Trout.

Lets put it this way, if trout goes 5-5 Miggy won't play. Anything less and he will. Miggy will not lose this, As much as he wants to play, all players would sit if it meant a TC.

Maybe but I doubt the angels game is over by the time the Tigers game starts.

So Cabrera will get 1 AB minimum.

If Inge was playing A's would be up 15 right now.

Here's a break down from the Freep.

• Cabrera 0-for-0 (.3306): Trout: 6-for-6 (.3309). Mauer: 9-for-9 (.3315).

• Cabrera 0-for-1 (.3301): Trout: 6-for-6 (.3309). Mauer: 8-for-8 (.3303).

• Cabrera 0-for-2 (.3295): Trout: 5-for-5 (.3297). Mauer: 8-for-8 (.3303).

• Cabrera 0-for-3 (.32905): Trout: 5-for-5 (.3297). Mauer: 7-for-7 (.32909).

• Cabrera 0-for-4 (.32852): Trout 4-for-4 (.32857). Mauer: 7-for-7 (.3290).

• Cabrera 0-for-5 (.3280): Trout 4-for-4 (.3285). Mauer: 7-for-7 (.3290).

• Cabrera 0-for-6 (.3274): Trout 4-for-4 (.3285). Mauer: 6-for-6 (.3278).

Royals should IBB Cabrera just out of respect, even if there are 2 outs.

Trout was HBP in his 1st AB and then got caught stealing 2nd. 1 AB down. Doubt he gets 5 more. So Cabrera could go 0-3 and still win the batting title if Trout goes 4-4 the rest of the game.
