Raptors 109 Pistons 91 Final

Drummond might be the dumbest player in the league ..I'm gonna harp on it all seas as i did last , shoulda traded him while we could but def shouldnt have re-signed him to the max .

Down 86-71 end of three. Glad I didn't watch the third.

Try and make a run and cut the lead and steal a game
And when that doesn't happen just regroup and try to win the home opener Friday . I miss the third. But first and second quarter we missed a lot of mid-range shots.

Derozan was /is on fire , scored 21 in the 3rd hitting all kinds of shots .. Tough to deal with when someone is that hot . Gotta keep grinding here , never know

I wonder what kind of haul we could have got for Drummond?

The good news is that Reggie will be back eventually and he is much better than our alternatives. The bad news is that the rest of the team appears to be exactly as good as they were last year. KCP remains inconsistent at best on offense. Stanley still can't hit the broad side of a barn. Drummond still has terrible FT mechanics. Harris is still a good scorer who struggled to defend PFs. Morris is still the mediocre wing he's always been.

Hopefully things look better with Reggie running the show, but expect a very similar team to last year.

Isn't it the exact same team as last year?

Sadly, I think the only way forward is this team to get a top 3 pick. You can't win anything without a star, and no free agents want to come here in 2016.

@tomdalton22, Yes.

@dubbsco, I think it's fair to say this team is a lot more fun to watch than the 7-9th pick teams that were terrible but too dumb to tank. Even with no changes from last year, we should be a playoff team and win about half our games. Also, the tanking window is pretty much closed. Drummond is signed long term and despite his faults is quite good, same with Reggie. SVG is also a really good coach, and he's not just going to give up games.

If we had real designs on a top pick, it would have to involve Reggie and Drummond (both) being lost to injury the entire year.

Not sure what everyone is talking about but the pistons have alot of different players then last year. When jackson gets healthy the bench should be alot better.

I guess they did change their bench...but I don't see it being a lot better.

I think Ellenson will help towards the end of rhe season. NOT sure about the other guy but he seems decent for the spot he was picked at.

Smith is way better back up then Blake. they picked up veteran bench guy Udrih off of wavers from the heat, he played alot in Toronto seems like a decent 8-10 guy lol.. better then last season.

You are so annoyingly clueless , our bench is 100 times better , you forget stanley is in his 2nd year , Aaron Baynes might be the best backup center in the league . Udrih was a steal off waivers and Ish is a starter in this league who we got for a backup , 2nd unit is gonna be damn good .

Boban was a great pickup , he was very good for the spurs last year and Pop wanted to keep him but couldnt afford him . Id say stick to baseball but we all know how that is
