We already know he punched her and knocked her out and then dragged her out of the elevator. This has been common knowledge forever. But now that there's video of the punch, he's released and banned indefinitely? That makes no sense. Nothing changed from before so why now is there a different penalty?
I don't give 2 shits about Rice or the Ravens but I don't understand why the punishment changed.

They knew what he did when the video showed him dragging her out of the elevator. It's not like he has been running around proclaiming his innocence for months.
