One in the same bro. He's a puppet commish, there to enforce the will and desire of the owners.

Yes, Rice had a down year in '13.... a horribly down year.... way bad year... but you have to know Bisciotti fully expected him to bounce back. He's been amazing for years, and has one bad year, thats not a guy an owner gives up on.

His 44 million per year is dependant on him keeping owners happy. He's not going to resign over this. He's going to deny, apologize, and deny some more. And he's going to get 50 million for it next year.

He's there to be the media punching bag so the media doesn't beat up the sweet owners... family men who do the right thing and release him from his contract.

If Goodell saw this in April, Bisciotti saw it in April too... but he's going to be the good guy because he pays Goodell to be the bad guy.

I was curious.. because anytime people get angry, someone starts an online petition.

I found a whole bunch of "fire Goodell" petitions online, some going years back.

Seems the one that got the most signatures was from 2012, and it got 865.

I'm sure he's worried about the public outcry. I'd take a media beating for 44 million a year too.

He was a hero to the public for years coming down on the likes of pac man and tank Johnson. Then he tried going after the saints and it all went down hill from there. He has no business medling in the affairs of domestic violence....cause he doesn't know anything about it. Which is evident in the way they handled her being at the press conference, a quote on baltimores website saying janae apologizes. Hes asking for trouble if he survives this and continues to go down this path of dabbling in business he knows nothing about.

not knowing them at all....I wonder if shes truly that ignorant or just a gold digger that realizes her gold mine is soon going dry. The fact shes now blaming the media for all this lol....if she truly feels that I feel so so sorry for her. But my gut tells me shes more sorry her husband no longer makes millions of dollars.

All is saved. They have an "independent investigation" being held to look into it. The lead investigator was head of the FBI for 13 years.

Also, he works for the same firm that negotiated the NFL's deal with DirecTV. He's going to be completely unbiased.

When Roger handed down the penalties on the Saints coaches for the bounty program he said something like ignorance is not an excuse when the coaches claimed they didn't know it was going on. We'll see if he has the same opinion when the investigation concludes the NFL front office had the video.

shit just doesn't add up. But to be fair....the state didn't make it out to be a big deal by giving them both misdemeanors and letting them walk...so the nfl was just following suit. Not trying to excuse the action.....but all of this would have been avoided if the state sent ray rice to jail like they should have and all the evidence was handed over to the NFL to make their decision. Instead were left to talk about whether or not a tape that was handed over illegally was viewed. Good luck to investoigators trying to figure that one out....

The problem is hes sitting in a room with ray rice the woman beater and his wife. ...and his wife is sitting there apologizing like a good little battered wife saying "its my fault" "I provoked him" "I apologize for my part in this".....and so mr Goodell has to go elsewhere to find what happened so he looks to the ppl that conducted the investigation and they let the both go with misdemeanors. Im not trying to make excuses for mr Goodell but he got royally fucked in this case. Whats could he possibly do or say to defend himself.....he can blame her and come out with everything she said....how do you think that's gonna work out for him? Lol hes screwed which is why he has his fbi buddy thats going to pit all the blame on everyone else for him.
