I assume it would depend on which translation or version of the bible you are referencing. There seems to be rewrites every so often.

Depending on which version of the bible you read, Jesus has several brothers and sisters. My favorite is Simon. He sounds like the brother who had a good job (like sticking to carpentry), raised a good family, but who was always second best in his parents' eyes.
