Man Lewerke has regressed as much as Stafford. Hopefully they can find a qb, because him and Lombardi are trash.

What a wasted effort (again) by the defense. There better be some open competition at the QB spot next year, but if Lewerke is the best we've got, then I don't hold out hope for a big step forward next year (unless the O-Line can come around).

Can you imagine being on that defense as a player or a coach. You give up 7 fucking points and lose...the offense is nothing short of embarrassing. The big ten is living in the 1970s still. 1 things for sure, we had the best D in the big ten this year. If Willekes and Bachie both come back look out. We get some C- qb play and could be the team to beat in the conference.

on the other thread today, I learned it's not Bollman and Warner, it's the injuries. We made the CFB playoff in 2015, so there's no reason to talk about change - we don't need it.

We blamed injuries all season. Who was out today? Davis?
2 touchdowns in the last 4 games (both came against Rutgers). And it?s not like we played any defense that was dominant. Can?t wait to see what Dantonio says about the offense in his press conference.

Injuries weren't the problem in the redbox bowl, that is a legitimate argument for the cumulative stats. we had really one of the best WR groups in the big ten with Davis/White/Stewart. Davis blew out his achilles, white broke his hand, steward had a sprained ankle, Rison and Jackson transferred due to the depth, Chambers fractured his thumb, Nailor had 2 significant injuries. Never mind Lewerke, Scott, Allen, Beadle, and others being hurt. That is freakish

as for the bowl game, we consistently shot ourselves in the foot. Lewerke fumbled those two snaps, potentially cost us up to 10 pts. that illegal motion by nailor took us from first and goal at the 7 to first and 15 at the 30. those kind of mistakes just kill you. we outgained them by 130, had a ton more 1st downs, etc, we just killed ourselves. if you want to say that's coaching, that's fine, just a number of dumb mistakes
