Rhonda Rousy introduced Fox NFL Sunday this morning.

She was only in one, F&F 6.

Edit: Apparently her father was the 3rd string QB for the Cowboys. Behind Staubach and White. Won a SB.

All right I'll watch it.

6 was one of the ones before Luke Walker was dead, right?

OMG Yes. She's gained a bit of weight since her fighting days but some people think that's a good thing. Good call Scott.

I am 100% in the camp of "the weight looks great on her".

But to be honest, their looks really don't matter either. Some of those women are world class athletes that deserve to be recognized for the skills.

I know some will call me crazy, but in an Octagon, I'd put money on Rousey kicking the shit out of Mayweather.

He would kill her...maybe literally

He better knock her out on her way in (to be fair, that's where my money would be) because I think if she gets the clinch, he's going for a ride.

I cannot stand Mayweather, but he lands one punch with the tiny gloves they wear in MMA, she's done. He wouldn't let her get close to his legs.

I'd like to see it. It could go so many different ways. She gets her hands on him he's done.

At least Mayweather would have to stand and fight. And he has no problem hitting women, either.

There's zero doubt about how the fight would go in my mind. She wouldn't get close to him. He's a better mover than any other female she'd ever fight. He's just way too strong for her. One punch and she's done.

MMA rules?

I guess if she were able to get him in that arm bar, who knows?

That's my point. Let me tell you guys how this would go... because it's gone this way EVERY time a seasoned boxer has fought a veteran MMA professional....

Mayweather would come to the middle. Rousey would go low and shoot the leg out from under him. With no experience on the ground, Mayweather would have no idea what to do, and down he goes.

Rousey goes for the mounted position. Mayweather tried to throw a punch from his back, something he has never learned to do (and it is different). Rousey grabs the arm, and it's arm bar time.

Mayweather taps.

Floyd wouldn't be the first boxer to think he can handle himself in an MMA bout. The 2nd UFC featured a former champion wearing one boxing glove... no idea why. It always ends the same way.

Down they go. They try to punch. Joint lock of some form or another... and tap.

Mayweather's only hope would be to spend a year learning jiu jitsu from a Gracie, 12 hours a day every day, before the fight to get comfortable in the guard, the mount, etc...

Put them in an octagon today, right now, and he's tapping. Put them in a ring, and she's knocked the fuck out. But on her terms, there is no way he wins. Zero. His chances are nil.

If he was 220, sure, because now she grabs that leg and maybe he doesn't go down. Maybe he stands up long enough to throw a knockout shot. But at his size, leverage wins, and he goes down, and then she owns him.

There is a 5% chance of him landing that punch. She's fast. She knows how to take him down before he knows what hit him.

She's not going to stand there and duke with him. She's going to put him on her terms, where he doesn't know how to live. If he throws a punch before he goes down, it hits her in the back and she absorbs it. It hurts like hell, but it's not a fight ender.

Plus, have you ever seen that woman with a knife hand block? She blocks a punch, and her block is an attack. She snaps the block. She makes it hurt. She just about breaks an arm when she does.

Monster signed her and we just ordered 500 standees for my market unit. Ill get you guys some lol.

McMy guess is she would go to the ground virtually immediately and go directly to his legs to bring him to the ground, the way Royce Gracie always did.

She would attempt to avoid letting him get a single leveraged punch off.

EDIT: Here is Gracie against significantly bigger opponents.

Granted, he shows a significantly bigger arsenal of takedown and submission techniques than we've seen from Ronda.

Not that she doesn't have them in her arsenal; but we haven't seen them.

I have no ideas what the rules are in MMA for the sanctioning of cross gender bouts...let alone what would be allowed regarding the the athletic commission of any state.
If this fight could actually happen in the MMA...Rousy would do it in a minute.

Maywether would NEVER take an MMA fight against anyone.

Or probably not; if the money was there, his boxing record wouldn't be effected.

Fantasy world, no chance MMA women will take out someone like Maywether. Fast or not not, Maywether is faster. And much stronger. In-fact MMA rules he's still win.
