Rockies vs Tigers, Game thread June 17

I like to see Max going 8, but I'll be pissed if he gives up a BB or a run.

7 innings was very acceptable.

We better start taking offers for Max while this game is still fresh in everyone's mind. Hate to waste a good trade opportunity.

eh..speed is a tad bit over rated. Weren't the last two world series champs the worst base stealing teams?

Not on this team it isn't. We have too many station to station runners and we constantly have to hold guys trying to score from 2nd base on singles. Berry is useful to this team right now. Plus he is the only guy on the roster who can come into the game as a pinch runner and immediately get himself into scoring position.

Hard to trade starters while we can't find enough of them to fill a rotation atm.

Sorry, I forgot to hit the sarcasm button. LOL

you may have been sarcastic but I can guarantee that Max would be on the block the minute Tigers were to become sellers. And there would be a playoff team that would over pay for him because of starts like these

Please let Below pitch the 9th.

I'd love to see a shutout, no Putzkkonen or Weber or Valverde please.

Scherzer gets handshakes and high fives after 8 innings 122 pitches 89 for strikes.

Along with a standing ovation, and the handshake of death from Jim Leyland.

Scherzer's the third MLB pitcher to reach the 100-K plateau this season, behind teammate Justin Verlander and the Nats' Stephen Strasburg.

Young, under team control for awhile. No way he'd be on the trade block.

any player outside of Verlander, Fielder, Cabrera would be on the block if they became sellers.
