Sanders continues to close the gap on Clinton

The Hillary camp made mistakes in 2008 that they wont make this time. This is her last chance. If she can't get elected against these opponents, she never will.

This is her last chance.

Ya think, Dinozzo?

The primary reason she lost in '08 was because the way that Saturday Night Live mocked the main stream media's falling all over itself hoping Obama would get the nomination.

If Larry David continues his impersonation of Sanders during guest appearances on the show throughout the primary season, she's gonna once again be toast.

I just saw a media study of mentions of political candidates by all the major TV news programs, shows like Meet The Press, etc. I'll try to find it and see if I can post it ( was in my twitter feed earlier).

Billary, Trump, and JEB! were the top mentions.

Guess who was DEAD LAST?

Not Carson. Not Rand Paul. Not even Mike Huckabee.

note, in surveys conducted that better reflect popular appeal (such as google searches) this candidate scored much better

I was firmly in the Bernie camp until this latest stuff about him opposing some of the gun crackdowns.

It doesn't sway me towards Billary, but gun control has long been a large platform for the Democratic Party, and I don't think Bernie gets the nomination without changing his tune, which Hillary will then exploit.

I just read that Sanders has a lifetime D- grade from the NRA. there's room for improvement there, I agree, but seriously?

Bernie wants gun manufacturers to have immunity from prosecution and civil actions, he opposes any changes tho that policy. I have read this is not because he believes they should get it, but because he comes from Connecticut, which is largely rural, which means largely pro-gun.

In the beginning I really like Bernie a lot, but lately it seems he lets people push him around and/or decide his stance on some issues.

It takes balls to be POTUS, if Bernie wants the job, he better start showing some. Because one thing that is a fact, is that hagface and badhair have huge balls.

If ignorant shit talking and blatant bold lies are what you call "huge balls" then I guess you're right, Bernie isn't your guy.

Personally I think someone that was standing up for today's 'hot button' topics back in the 80's before they were popular ideas is the one with 'huge balls'. Just my opinion of course.

I agree. I was all on for Bernie until BLM punked him several times and he changed his tune. Then I dug a little deeper and kept finding little red flags. At this point, I'd rather have four more years of Obama via Hillary. It sucks that we don't have better options.

What time is the establishment repo-cons vs trump debate on tonight?

Surprised to see Thumb and Monster with this "Bernie gets pushed around" talk.

Hillary's camp was so stupid putting Chelsea out there to cry for her campaign. God a whole another 11 months of this crap on both sides and wasted dollars spent.

Dude, the guy said "all lives matter" and BLM shouted him down. And then the very next week, two BLM chicks bullied him off stage. If that isn't weakness, I don't know what is. He could have handled it so much better. And to be honest, his economic policies are too far to the left for my tastes.

Not excited about Hillary at all but unless Bernie wins, she gets my vote. The feminist spin is mind numbing though.

It's not even feminist. It's sexist but if you say that you're a misogynist. 'Murica.

Honest question, not sarcastic or snide, how would you have him handle it? From my point of view, he stepped aside and let them speak because his experiences in the civil rights movement taught him that when people are angry, they should be listened to rather than silenced. Would like to hear your opinion though.

I get what you're saying, and that's why I like Bernie, because of his history on things I care about.

But he's coming off as kind of meek as far as this campaign goes, he needs to say some shit that will generate some headlines like the other two morons do. They say stupid shit and get a bump in their poll numbers.

"Security, please escort these women off the property." Then, turn back to his audience and explain that they were rude to both him and his supporters that were there to see him. That the mic is not open. As a man with decades of history of supporting civil rights, he shouldn't allow himself to be bullied off stage by civil rights activists. He should have stood on his own record.

I'm sorry, but could you imagine B. Clinton, Bush, or even Obama letting people jump on stage, interrupt their speech, and take his mic? Hell no.

He also could have asked them to return to their seats and promised to answer any questions they may have. Instead, he gave them the stage and ended his speech. Many better ways of handling it.

You've got to pick your battles. I'm less worried about our President's physical presence and more concerned with his ability to believe in the same thing from year-to-year. Two different kinds of strength I guess. I you want someone that won't get shouted down, vote Trump.

It seems like a lot of people haven't actually seen what happened. I'll give a link to the video. Bernie hadn't even really begun his speech when two loud black women jumped on stage, bullied him off, and ended his day. Bernie moved to the background willingly and then just walked off stage to the chants of, "Bernie! Bernie! Bernie!"

I couldn't imagine any of those former presidents at a rally of this kind to begin with. :D

While I disagree, your opinion definitely isn't out of the question, I'm sure there are others who feels the same way.

I also wasn't thrilled with how Bernie handled it but from a different perspective. I wasn't upset with him being 'bullied' but more upset that he had a chance to completely erase pre concieved notions about him regarding race issues. He kind of fumbled that opportunity.

On the bright side, at least he didn't pull an O'Malley and retort 'White Lives Matter'.

I disagree with your characterization. It looks like Sanders had a guy for this, and his guy backed down.

He should hire Trump to be his guy for that.

I've seen it. And I have to say. anyone who takes a look at their 'security' and expected them to forcefully remove a large group of protesters is kidding themselves. One of them looked just as old as Bernie.

If this was a Bernie Sanders event, I highly doubt it would have been handled this way. But as a guest speaker at someone else's event, I still can't fault him for not pulling a Trump and shouting angrily at the minorities.
