again lol...kvb cant stay on his feet, suh is clueless and fairley will never be healthy with his little legs.
Sapp also said he wants to take Lions defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham up on his offer to watch film together.
Cunningham defended Suh in November, saying he defends draws, screens and other misdirection plays exactly how the Lions draw them up.
"You can tell a defense when it?s tied together tight, you can see it work," Sapp said. "They just play waves. Waves. There?s no rhyme or reason to it. (Kyle) Vanden Bosch out there in a wide 11, come inside, crash, fall down. You?re like, 'Which gap do you have?' That?s why they?re called run gaps, that?s why they ask you to secure your run gap.
"I don?t know what (Suh is) being taught. That would be the one thing, like I said with Gunther, I wanted to get to Detroit and see what they were actually teaching, 'cause if I knew what they were teaching, then it?d give me a better (idea). But when a man?s in a two-technique, and he doesn?t see the wham for three years, come on. That?s easy."
Sapp wasn't critical of everything Lions. He said he likes second-year defensive tackle Nick Fairley, though he's worried Fairley won't have a long NFL career because of injuries.
"I like watching Nick more than I like watching Suh," Sapp said. "Nick?s got some awareness; he?s just got them little legs. He?s never going to be healthy, he?s got those little legs. You just can?t play the position with those little legs, trust me."
