DT normal don't get a hugh number of sacks nor do they get a huge number of tackles. At least DT like Suh and Sapp. Sapp never got 50 tackles in a season. Suh's job is to occasionally disrupt the QB and take on 2 guys so the MLB can fill the gap and stop the run and/or fill a slot so the RB has to go outside where the OLB can make a play. And allow the rest of the line to have a easier chance to get to the QB.
He's doing well. We just need some DE's.
Sapp didnt play in a wide 9. You split your ends out that far it automatically makes it easier to run against and easier to block as an offense....i dont care who the DT is. We put alot of pressure on our LBs and S's to make the tackle in the hole. Tulloch does a nice job cleaning up. Levy and the safties have been an absolute crap shoot and havbe done their fair shar of whiffing in the hole.
