I am warming to Kirkpatrick quite a bit.....

care to elaborate? I'm scared as heck by the guy and am curious what it is you like.

He fits Schwartz CB mold to a tee...very solid tackler who plays well in a press/bump system , comes right in from a NFL type college defense and was well coached by the Saban staff.....will start at CB2 day 1.

Yea I saw the same thing. Especially since he wasnt projected top 15 to start with.

Youd have to think Martin at 10 would be viewed as a reach....alot of teams dont like to reach that much for a top 10 pick.

LTs with potential are always a reach. They could go WR or Gilmore, but they need an LT and it would be between Martin and Reiff.

I like the list. I like mercilus over Perry but thats just preference. Hill is my wtf pick as well....and ill even toss in Harrison Smith as a WTF! (in caps) pick.

Konz over Dre and Gilmore?? Really? When Dom is locked up for another two years? We have 1 starting caliber corner on the roster and a decent nickel with good ball skills and then senior Pinata Aaron Berry... Dre or Gilmore would be a gimme.

Mostly just a gut feeling but he's not very fast/quick, gambles a ton and only had 3 picks his entire career. I've heard he may even end up playing safety.

4.5 is pretty standard among corners in the league. He's almost 6'2 and 180 some lbs and hits like a ton of bricks. We need a corner that can jam GB's receivers. I wouldn't take only having 3 picks in college as being a red flag. Just that teams were smart enough not to throw to his side.
