They won the President's Cup, and Stanley Cup. 251 goals scored by the Red Wings. 30-goal scorers were Robitaille, Hull, Shanahan, Federov. Hasek had 41 wins, which was the most in the league.

When their forwards mature and the defense improves. Our forwards are young right now and most of them aren't very good on the back check. Defensively we just aren't all that good, giving up too many scoring chances each game.

We probably need to consolidate some of the depth for top line or pairing talent.
