The guy's name is McCaffrey not McCaffery
Whatever it is the spell check that always changes it. I don’t care he would have won the same amount of games as Patterson this year. I really could care less how his name is spelled as long as he wins some games, and or beats out Patterson for the starting spot.
If his name were spelled ?McCaffery? our guys probably would?ve beaten Notre Dame and Ohio State and made the playoffs.
But it isn?t. It?s spelled ?McCaffrey.?
Nothing would have changed, except our guys likely wouldn?t have come back against Northwestern the way they did.
So your saying 9-4 With a young qb playing is the same as 10-3 and finishing like we did losing at the end of the season like we always do. What the heck is the difference? We still lost our last two games again.
How do you know McCaffrey would not have brought the team back ? He is a faster runner then Patterson. You just don?t know. All I am saying is let a kid develop while he is young maybe instead of always trying to get a transfer kid. Patterson was a upgrade over the year before I guess because we did go from 8 to 10 wins. We will never know how the team would have played under Milton or Dylan.
I do agree with you . Open it up Qb competition in spring. Hopefully without Hamilton.

McCaffery would have brought the team back, And also with McCaffery Michigan would have won the national championship.
But we don?t have McCaffery. We have McCaffrey.
Makes all the difference in the world. Close, but no cigar.
