Should the Lions bench Titus?

The guy isnt doing anything this year, besides that lucky catch to force OT vs the Titans. Im thinking its time they experiment with the WRS a bit. Calvin of course as the #1 WR, Burleson at #2 and Broyles as the slot guy.

Slow start maybe but I've seen what he did last year. Just needs to have a little more consistency. He has talent.

Maybe not letting him start would motivate him, idk. What about swapping Titus and Burleson then? Has anyone been to a Lions game this year? If so, is Titus being ignored by Stafford or is he not getting open? Hard to tell on TV, and I have almost a month till I can see it from the stands.

Each week I'm becoming less and less of a Titus fan. He has had some drops and we all know about him being a dumbass..

Im getting there too. Last year I was optimistic about him because I thought he showed GREAT hands on quite a few plays, this year has me second guessing him.

I'm opposed to benching Titus at this point. Really I think the offense as a whole, including Staff, has been lackluster. Some of it may be Linehan's calls too. I'll be in Philly on Sunday, kdp, I'll hopefully be sober enough to keep an eye on Titus and let you know, at least in one game, if he's being ignored or just flat out playing like shit. I think Smitty's been to most if not all of the games this year...he might know...

i have often wondered what seemed wrong with titus..it wasn't like people were just raving about him in training camp for no reason..he is playing WORSE than his rookie year...and the only thing i can come up with is he is injured..ever since around the time his child was born..he has randomly missed practice days throughout training camp and it is STILL affecting him..as he missed practice today..knee soreness is what they are saying..i don't think its good to have sore knees since training camp..and even after a bye week...something isn't right..don't be surprised if he has some kind of scoping done sometime this season or after its over..

trading up for Best, Titus, broyles, trading up for leshoure. Take your pick for dumbest draft pick. Its a tough choice...

Trading up for whitehead?

That depends on how we finish this year. So far its not looking good but if we turn it around that was a great trade. Early 5th for an early 4th not so good, but an early 5th for a late 4th is great (and we get the player for a year).

If you want to put blame on anybody blame the ST and ST coach. If they don't fk up, we're 3-1 and no one talks about the suckiness. And the ones in this thread won't say shit.

And not trading up for Patrick Peterson...the one they should have pulled out the stops for.

Its not Titus' fault, in 4 games he has only been targeted 16 times. Joque Bell has the same amount and so does Sheffler (in 3 games)

Not targeted sometimes means not open. I think Young's knee injury is hindering him.

The trade up for Best we gave up 4th round draft position and drafted Fox instead of an Everson Griffen. No big deal.

Titus everyone loved until his knee injury and sucking this season. Way too early to give up on that guy after his rookie year.

Broyles we knew it would take time and with Burleson cap number and age it isn't that dumb.

LeShoure again we need a bruiser. We gave up one extra pick for him, a 4th(really not that big of a deal) and used the 3rd essentially on him which became a late 2nd.

The % of draft picks being stars or even worth a shit is well, shit. Sometimes you hit, sometimes you miss. Though the WR, way too early. And Leshoure, its been 2 games after a bad-bad injury. You never know when a guy will get hurt. And Fairley isn't the only defensive lineman that has been sub-par.

If youre going to go BPA regardless of position and have that be your excuse for not filling any holes then they should atleast be producing. The fact you have a guy like Wendling starting in your secondary and all this "value" sitting on your bench doesnt make much sense to me. Even if Broyles was 100% healthy (which i think he is) he still wouldnt get many snaps cause were not in 3 and 4 wr sets very often. Thats great if youre a perrenial playoff team to be able to stack that much talent on your bench. But were not....were perrenial losers. You need to fill the holes when youre a loser and we dont do that. We dont fill holes in FA and we dont fill holes via draft. So the end result is...we have a shit ton of holes on this team. Not only are our drafts not producing on the O and D....but they arent producing on ST either. Reiff does nothing for our ST. Broyles is a worthless ST player. Bentley im pretty sure isnt out there on ST (atleast hes starting on D...which is sad if you ask me). Hopefully these players pan out as future prospects but if previous drafts are any indication....were not the best at developing talent.

Why should BPA matter? The % say most people suck. Whether it's the first round or 7th round.
