Should the Lions bench Titus?

Why should BPA matter? The % say most people suck. Whether it's the first round or 7th round.

thats my point....going bpa hasnt mattered at all cause the dont fill a hole we need filled and they arent contributing elsewhere. Theyre just sitting around. Fairley is rotational, Reiff rides the pine, Broyels rides the pine, Titus rotational moron. These are high BPA picks that really havent added anything to the team. Value schmalue....

Would it matter if we got a no need player that sucked or a need player that sucked? We'd just be bitching about the CB we drafted that didn't pan out.

Thank you for bringing up yet another excellent point....when everyone you draft sucks, then you suck at evaluating talent or your coaches suck at developing them.

Atleast it would show they are trying to fill a whole

Granted, I wasnt questioning shit when they picked up Fairley, in fact, I thought it was brilliant at the time. But now? The guy has played 1 good quarter of football, imo

Jenkins and Jimmy Smith suck? Both available, and couldve traded down to get either one.

You have to follow the conversation to get why I posted what I did. This post has nothing to do about what I posted and what I meant. And nothing about guys we could have had.

Had a decent rookie year, highlighted by a late int of Brady to pretty much seal Baltimores win over the Pats in the playoffs. Better yet, besides Houston what has anyone on the Lions secondary ever done?

Jimmy Smith does not start. He's the nickel. Cary Williams starts still for Baltimore along with Webb. Smith has a -1.7 coverage grade. Bentley is -.8

Lions secondary
Top 5 last year in every good defensive category before major injuries on Thanksgiving with Houston,Wright,Berry,Delmas and Spievey. But then Houston, Delmas and Berry all got hurt. Spievey regressed this offseason and Berry is an idiot. Wright went to Tampa and sucks there.

Top 10 in yardage this year at 213 YPG allowed with Houston(2 games),Lacey,Florence(2 games),Bentley(3 games),Wendling(3 games), Silva(1 game) and Coleman. Little pressure from the Dline which really forced alot of the picks last year. Way to early to give up on this secondary until we see them with Delmas and let Bentley grow a little as a rookie.

I remember the secondary doing well last year up until they started playing elite qbs, as far as this year goes, they havent played anything close to an elite qb, and even made Jake Locker look like an all pro. I havent given up on the secondary btw. Chris Houston is a prime example of a cb that was given up on waay too early in his career by a team. Very thankful the Lions have him now.

Its all about Delmas. He's the key.

Hope youre right. Any news on if hes playing today? Lions definitely need a few big plays defensively to have a shot at winning in Philly. The team as a whole needs to quit underachieving imo. Hopefully they all come to life today.

He's out on the field in his game pants. He should be out there barring a crazy incident.

If I was Hanson I'd kick it out of bounds, let then have it at the 40. If I was the punter, I'd just take a sack or just go on all 4th downs outside FG range.
