SI ranks all 32 starting QB's. Stafford ranked.......

Again you are posting stats about quantity not efficiency.

2014: Ranked 20th out of 32nd in passing 1st downs per attempt
2013: Ranked 15th
2012: Ranked 10th..hey finally something top 10!!!!

Fact is, he is the least efficient QB the past 3 years. You can prove it a number of ways, there is just nothing he does well except throw the ball a numerous amount of times. Not a coincidence the year we ask him to do the least is the year we have our best year.

First downs is a stat on it's own. Those are a good to have a high quantity. He has more attempts because we have no run game. Stafford still moves the chains. 38 FG attempts, 11 rushing TDs and 22 passing TDs. Stafford moved the ball even without a run game or protection. Stafford should be MVP of the league for doing that. He was screwed countless time by our INJURED Oline after moving into opponent territory.

There is no such thing as an efficiency ranking with first downs. I don't care how many attempts it takes. He has to throw alot on 2nd and 3rd down because we can't run. And 3rd down is usually 8 yards or more. Stafford is a good QB. Outstanding in 2014. Good in 2013 and great in 2011. We are lucky to have him.

LKP saying something isn't real. Classic Irony right there. The guy with more fake stats and game tape than anyone.

22nd out of 22nd is a fact. Worst QB in the league rating wise who had more than 1,000 throws over the past 3 years. Fact. Can't dispute it.

Now what unproved crazy idea are you going to come up with next to defend your crush?

It's not a fact. It just means Detroit has to have more 3rd downs because they can't run and their Oline can't protect. Stafford had the most 3rd and longs in the league last year. but yet first down machine and 11 wins.

Lions were 5th in 10 play drives by the way. First down machine.

Stafford was efficient. His run game and protection were not. Stafford is our first down machine.

The Lions oline will protect Stafford this year. Year 2 of the offense. The run game will be top 15. Ebron will step up in year 2.

And Stafford will have a monster year. 35 TDs and 12 ints, close to 5,000 yards. You doubted the defense. You were wrong. Now you doubt the offense. You'll be wrong. A healthy offense is happening for Detroit. LG/C/RB upgraded. Big things for Detroit this year. Top 10 PPG offense.
 
That was 4th down wasn't it?? Ugh I remember that, so freaking horrible.

Over the past 3 years that have been 22 QBs that have thrown at least 1,000 passes. Here is Staffords efficiency rank:

Completion %: 20 out of 22
YPA: 18 out of 22
TD %: 22 out of 22
Int %: 13 out of 22
QB Rating: 22 out of 22

Composite rank: 22 out of 22. Which means he has been the least efficient out of all the QBs in the past 3 years that have thrown at least 1,000 passes. That is horrible.

EDIT: Before people complain, he has been sacked the 3rd least as far as sacks per attempt goes. Only Brees, Brady and Manning have ben sacked at a lower rate

He's attempted the 2nd most passes in the past 3 years, but only thrown the 13th most TDs and the 3rd most INTs. He does nothing well except throw the ball a bunch and rank up yards to impress the simpletons and fantasy fans.

I agree, Oline. Of course they were good the year before and he was basically the same. So yeah, blame the oline. What's the point in running if you aren't willing to go after the marker. Our QB is a puss.

A lot of those 3rd and longs are due to his inaccuracy....incomplete passes on first and second down create 3rd and long!

Gray 4.6, Vereen 4.1 and Blount 4.7. Brady is the one who couldn't run 1.6 YPC.

Over 4 YPC run support. Solid run support for Pats.

Lions had 3.6 YPC total.

Also Brady well protected. 28.7% under pressure. Stafford 31.9%. there is a 3.2% in completion % right there. 21 sacks of Brady, 45 of Stafford. Drive killing sacks.

Drop Stafford 6%, Brady 5.5%. Another .5% point.

Brady had better protection, run support and better drop support. Pats defense was top 10. Gronk is a beast. Edleman and Amendola are good slot guys for easy catches. Lafell is a 2nd round pick.

Brady lost at Lambeau. And got beat by good defenses in at KC, Buffalo at home and at Miami.
