Khari Willis is the first letter in. Projected to be a safety.

He might try to play basketball too. I'm guessing that doesn't happen though.

Larry Scott's letter is in. Whew! He was the one I was worried most about.

what's the best source for a list of verbals and signed LOIs? Would be nice to see them all in one place

No surprises, Drake Martinez is the only letter we're waiting for now. Hunt and Peat to decide in the next few hours.

one signing day flip in the last 5 years that I can think of, Bowers to OSU. we've been great at retaining guys that commit and keeping guys in the program, just a testament to MD and his mentality

Darius Slade last year

Cassius Peat to MSU!!!! WOW! This guy is a beast and perfect for our system!

Maybe this will vault their class into the top 25

It's already in the top 25 on all 3 services.

Mufi Hunt commits too!!!

This will put us top 20 on Rivals, just outside the top 20 on 247 and maybe as high as 14 or 15 on SCOUT.

Great day.

I really don't follow it much. I was just looking at it on ESPN today and they had MSU ranked 27th.

those services are slanted to the larger classes, UM will most likely be dead last in the big ten but their average star ranking is pretty good. I say whatever, MD got a lot of the kids he was after, they committed early and stayed with MSU, that says something.

Signing day is like a fantasy football draft, everyone feels pretty decent about their haul. As long as we keep getting tough kids without entitlement and keep attrition low, we'll be just fine

I've been reading on some of these classes today. The one thing that I noticed is it seems that all they are doing is look at the star rating of the player but almost nobody talks about the specific needs of the program and how the players fit.

Pretty much what we expected, I figured we would get either Peat or Hunt but both is a bonus. Other than Gaines we are running thin the last 2 classes on WR. Hope we focus in that area for next year.
