Somehow, MSU won against both Michigan and OSU without leading for even a second.

Congrats on the win guys. Looks like the Big 10 East title is yours, barring a miracle from Ped State next week.

Looking forward to seeing you guys play Iowa for all the marbles. If it can't be Michigan representing the Big10 in the CFP, at least someone has a chance to show the nation that B1G football is still the best.

If you guys make it in, kick the shit out of the SEC for me.

Its hard to quantify. I didnt realize Cook wouldnt play and when I saw that at gametime I figured we were going to get plastered!

Im with you on this one. I always root for any B10 team OOC. SBEE has a point that it doesnt benefit us if another B10 team is winning they could move forward in recruiting better players etc. Im just a B10 guy and love watching any team in our conference beat the SEC in foots and the Big East or ACC in hoops. *gags* Ill attribute that stance to the fact that ESPN is biased and strokes those conferences in their respective sports year after year regardless of talent.

Even if we beat PSU by 20 we will get jumped by a 20th ranked SEC team . Really fing annoying. 20% chance we make the playoffs regardless of next week.

Another thought on the game, the coin toss was a huge factor. Having the wind late may have won it for us, the punt and kick plus making it harder for osu to throw was huge

Um, we wing next two and we are 100% in. We actually have the best resume in the country right now.

My nephew's choice came down to playing for Alabama or LSU just a couple of years ago. Bama had just won a National title. He chose LSU, because Bama was so stacked, it was going to be that much harder to crack the starting lineup or get any playing time at all.

So I can't buy into the idea that it improves recruiting because these kids want to win, but they also want to play. For every kid that becomes more attracted to team that just won a title, there's a kid that may look in a different direction as a result.

Personally, I want to see Blue win it all every year, but if Michigan isn't going to win it, another Big10 team is my next choice. B1G is the conference I love, and I despise the SEC.

Gotta agree Johnny. Michigan State notched road wins over Michigan and OSU, which is a damned tough schedule as is. They also have a win over Oregon, who's ranking is going to absolutely jump this week.

Their record, aside from Nebraska, is impeccable, and that loss is tempered by a blown call. The record is what it is, but the selection committee knows what happened.

They are a top team playing other top teams, unlike Bama taking on Charleston Southern to wind down it's season. You simple cannot leave MSU out of the top 4 at this point. It would be ludicrous.

Only a loss to Ped State can throw that playoff appearance off track, so don't choke it away, but right now it's yours to lose.

Take 'em to the woodshed Sparty! Represent the B1g with class and strength. This Wolverine is rooting for you from here.

Defense was crazy good. ...mostly because of the front 7....partly because meyer rolled in with 5 plays in his playbook. All the secondary concerns and osu couldn't even attempt to take advantage of it in that weather. Great win sparty!

That was a huge game. Overnight ratings had it as the most viewed college football game on ABC during the day since 2006, and the most viewed this season at any time in any network. We've played in 3 of the 6 most watched games of the year.

108,975 fans at Ohio Stadium is the new stadium record.

#4 in the AP and #6 in the coaches poll today.

Urban flat out shit the bed. You can't take advantage of a backup QB in that weather? You hand the ball to Zeke 8 times on the first drive, and they can't stop you.. and you give it to him 4 times more for the rest of the game?

He got schooled, and I have no idea where his brain was for that game. He made the mistakes and Sparty made him pay for it.

I hope he's just as retarded next week too.

This game reminded me of our game with OSU last year in that it looked like one team knew all the other teams plays and weaknesses. We game planned for OSU all year and were ready for everything they do. Last year, Meyer admitted to studying MSU film all off season.

To be honest, I don't think anyone could have predicted the OSU play calling yesterday... because it was EPIC amounts of stupidity.

You have one of the most lethal weapons in the game, and hand the ball to him 4 times after the first drive?

No way Dantonio could have predicted that. It was too stupid to predict.

Agreed. They played RIGHT into MSU's strengths.....not for a drive ..... Or a quarter....but the whole fucking game. Inexcusable for a coaching staff at that level to have a game plan that bad.

We held them to 5 whole first downs and 132 total yards. If not for the muffed punt and QB fumble we would have shut them out. They had a 10 play 32 yard and a 1 play 6 yard drive for TDs. Their longest play was 16 yards.

Our D held UM and OSU to 362 total yards and 15 first downs combined in 120 minutes of football on the road. Domination when it counted the most. That's why we are 6-1 in our last 7 games vs top 10 teams.

We do cycle up for big games, it's hard to give that extra effort for all 12 games but we seem to bring extra intensity

If I didnt know any better, it was almost like OSU was shaving points. It was that bad.

Youre up the entire game and decide not to throw due to weather conditions. ..fine. but then you give your Heisman candidate rb only 2 carries the entire 2nd half? Wtf...
