Simply Amazing

Youre up the entire game and decide not to throw due to weather conditions. ..fine. but then you give your Heisman candidate rb only 2 carries the entire 2nd half? Wtf...
They do seem like a dysfunctional football team. Strange to have 2 guys declare there and then elliot criticized the play calling

If I didnt know any better, it was almost like OSU was shaving points. It was that bad.

It really was that bad. It's almost as if they watched no film on MSU. It's inexcusable to give a healthy Ezekial Elliot 2 carries in a half.....or not test the MSU secondary. Someone should be held accountable for what happened.

I think the weather helped us a ton. Last year JT was able to throw deep and the WR would just run underneath it. This year they were throwing short and the Spartans were stuffing the run.

the weather was as big of a break for us as CC being hurt was for them. on paper you think they would dominate since their running game is so much better but not having that play action threat helped us more than them.

bad weather was a key factor, also having the wind in the 4th really made the difference

Strange elliot didnt get more carries. I figured he was injured and they werent saying it. The secondary was tough to test due to the rain. Neither team was throwing which helped us out a lot.

Elliot said that he had an injury, I think an infection drained on his knee and he wasn't even sure he was going to play.

It was an infection in his calf - he pulled up his pant leg and showed it to reporters in his post game. There was some discoloration but no open sores. Sounded like MRSA which can be nasty, even life threatening if it gets into your blood stream. My daughter had it when she was 3 and was hospitalized for 4 days - she was basically quarantined and on IV of heavy antibiotics. But she probably could have hung a couple hundred on Rutgers or Indiana the day she got out so I don't think the issue was medical for him.
