So...

Broyles will be ready for training camp. He was running for his pro day just earlier this week

Rich Eisen runs every year too....would you draft him in the 2nd round?? lol...Broyles ran a 4.57.....fat ass running backs run 4.57s. Hes no where near ready if is hes not even at top straight line speed yet.

i think the point is that broyles was running hard. That means despite his bad time, his knee is probably close to healed and there haven't been any complications. He's got 4 months until he needs to be 100%.

Don't use logic when talking to Hughes. Kevin Bacon wasn't in footloose!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a 4.57 40 with just a few months off a knee injury isnt bad at all. That means when healthy he could be a 4.4 guy. He is also very sure handed and runs good routes. I would rather have a wr that understands NFL routes and has great hands than a 4.3 guy who lacks route running skills and doesnt catch the ball well.

Ya pretty much everybody has expressed caution about the readiness of Broyles. Rotoworld says he'll start year on PUP list. Walterfootball says he'll likely miss time. Mayock said when the pick when in "Problem with Broyles is you don't know when you're gonna get him."

As for Bentley, same thing across the board on where he'll be - he's a 3rd rounder... he's gonna compete for the Nickel and maybe get pushed onto the field more because of who's in front of him on the depth chart (Jacob Lacey, Aaron Berry, Alphonso Smith).

I get drafting BPA. That concept makes sense to me, and it's worked so far for Mayhew and Schwartz in turning this ship around... I just don't think when Scouts.com gives the guy a 70 grade, that he's BPA at #53

Peter Konz was the #1 Center... went 1 pick after Broyles.

I dunno. Whatever. Like I said, Mayhew must know something the rest of us don't.

I would have liked Konz as well. Get the little current center out.

they love Raiola and Peterman....argued with that gimp Gazoo on the old board about it constantly...guaranteed him they'd still be around in 2011 and 2012 and lo and behold they are.

Oh, I agree with that. Raiola they just love.

yep...

Can't figure that out either. I dunno... the pick just makes no sense to me. So they're saying they had Broyles graded out higher than Konz???

I doubt everyone see the same. I mean I saw people suggest we'd draft Glenn at 23 and some who thought he'd be gone at the point and then he goes round 2. Just never know.

absolute theft for the Bills.....

I agree. I heard he takes some plays off but rated very well. I was hoping he'd fall a bit further..

to grade Broyles out higher than David is idiotic. Curry...idiotic. Konz too.

I had Cordy at 10 to the Bills last week :lmao: like Mayock says...right church , wrong pew.

Ya we basically had pick of the board at 23 for OLine. Didn't see that coming. Nevermind Glenn... I saw some mocks where even Jonathan Martin was gone by 23... then he goes mid-late 2nd round.

Very strange draft this year. Trades have been completely crazy too.

What about the Jags taking Bryan Anger the punter in the 3rd round. Rich Eisen had me on the floor during that pick

:lmao: ya I guess it tells your fanbase...we may be punting alot this year.

Then he was talking to Mayock and he was like "Point to me where Bryan Anger is on your draft board"

Mayock was like "I have a lot of guys at a lot of positions on my board... none of them are punters."

lmao
