It's less than the number of players they're going to be signing that's for sure

Especially if they get hit with a increased scholarship reduction. Although I'm not holding my breath on that one at this point.

I would. They played ineligible players in a bowl game so that's a violation and a ban on it's own. If they didn't get reductions it would be as if the cash, cars and dope were just a recruiting tactic that every ncaa program practices. I feel confident about it.

I look at it this way - OSU is going to get top recruits, especially with Meyer, so why not have them take said recruits from Sparty so we can at least laugh at same old sparty. I'd much rather have to deal with one good recruit rather than Sparty having a good recruit and Ohio getting one out of the blue.

We wont know until the NCAA has their say and until we see who transfers (Taylor Graham has already transferred). Smith self imposed a light loss of scholarships over a three year period. I doubt that is going to appease anyone, I am expecting the NCAA to double that. Even so, Meyer will probably defer most of those until later so he can get some O Linemen to fix our biggest problem.

Guess this type of stuff happens to every team. I have no doubt the Spartans have a few players in mind who can help their class in the absence of Pittman, just like Michigan could replace this guy.
