Stafford gone to rams

June 2 we will see on trade. Makes more sense for GB to move him then and spread out the cap hit over 2021 and 2022.

Plenty of 2022 and 2023 picks and players teams could offer for Rodgers.

I doubt he gets moved. Rodgers will play 2021 at least in Green Bay

I'm not a big social media person, but could one of you who is send a note to Rodgers -- ask him to put his version of the Bobby Layne curse on the Packers.

49ers and Shanahan were interested. Another HC seeing Stafford as a good underrated QB

Obviously not as interested as the Rams.

I honestly believe this is the anti-Layne moment. There was so much anticipation and hype in the beginning that Stafford would end the Layne curse...won't it be ironic that Stafford being traded and the Lions fleecing the Rams will be the trick that provides the Lions a SB victory!

just one more piece of evidence that the entire Lions organization and roster has been shit over the past 25 years

Last 10 years playoffs
Vikings 4
Eagles 4
Falcons 4
49ers 4
Lions 3
Bears 2 (including 8-8 last year)
Arizona 2
Rams 3
Cowboys 3
Wash 3 including 7-9 this year
Carolina 4
Bucs only 1 but won the Super Bowl with Brady
Giants 2
Saints 6
Seattle 8
GB 8

Not really complete shit. In line with most of NFC for playoffs over 10 years Patricia era (3 years) didn't get it done for various reasons and correctly got the boot. Millen era obviously bad with 0 playoffs then. New era starts but looks like a rebuild in 2021 to start

That?s in the past. I pledged a clean slate this season, and I?m abiding by that.

Perfect year for clean slate. Brand new era with staff and GM and even QB. Even the number of games with 17 now (as 10-11 wins is less impressive). Rebuilds will take time though so 2021 hope pretty low all around. Pleasantly surprised would be nice for a change though

I stand by my statement that they have been complete shit over the past 1/4 century. 0 playoff wins. Outside of the Browns, who were an expansion team in 1999, the Lions have been the worst team in the NFL over that timeframe.

The playoff years those teams were capable for sure to win a playoff game. Packers were better though (as you can see 8 playoffs with Rodgers and 10 of 12 if you go back to 2009) so that puts the Lions on the road for playoffs and behind the eight ball. Seattle in Seattle during Legion of Boom end times and Saints with Brees in Super Dome with a banged up Lions secondary. Cant' get a worse draw for road games in playoffs. And then of course the Cowboys ref fiasco plus a Cowboys had a good offense/Oline and were just flat out allowed to hold in second half of that game.

Millen years, yeah complete shit. Mayhew/Schwarz into Caldwell/Quinn were some good competitive teams that would not be classified as complete shit. Then Patricias style and idea of how to build a team didn't work and they became bad again plus some injuries along the way. Depth wasn't there to handle the injuries or sometimes there was just too many to overcome.

I see you still enjoy to ignore facts. The Lions had the worst record in that timeframe and actually zero playoff wins. Worst record + no playoff wind = worst team

Not during that time frame for those certain years of 2011-2017. Millen years drag that down. How is that hard for you to understand?

Complete shit every year is incorrect.
2011, 2014, 2016, 2017 legit good teams. With 2014 the best obviously then 2011

2012, 2013, 2018-2020 talent to be a good team but they didn't execute, injuries, coaching stunk

Millen years. They just stunk. Little talent or bad coaching combine with a bad stubborn GM.

2001-2009 complete shit
2010-2020 some good teams and some talented teams that didn't execute well, had injuries and stunk with some bad coaching mix in

That is the proper summary of last 20 years for Lions.

are you stupid or just can't comprehend? I didn't say they were terrible every year. I said they were the worst team over that time period. Worst record and no playoff wins over the past 25 years.

You said they were complete shit. Which means bad every year

And they were far from the worst team in the 2011-2020 time frame either

Lumping in Millen years is causing issues for you

Look at 2011-2020 records for all teams and see how they pan out. And even then the records can lie due to injuries. Like 2019 Lions record, much better team than that record. Stafford injury and the 0-8 finsih.

worst record over a 1/4 century and no playoff wins = complete shit to me

I lump in the Millen years because that is part of the past 1/4 century. If I was talking about the past decade, I would not say they were the worst team. That distinction would belong to the Browns.

But two separate eras need to be separated so not right to say complete shit for 20 years when the last 10 have not been complete shit. Complete means all the time. Last 10 is not shit. And now we have a brand new era anyway so the last 20 years doesn't matter too much, though their will be remnants for 2021 from Patricia and company.

Interesting if you do 10 years for Bucs 2009-2019 they got skunked from playoffs. 0 playoff appearances in 11 years actually 2008 they missed too.

Then all of a sudden they get Tom Brady and win a Super Bowl

4 of last 10 years had NFC Winning Super Bowl. 2011, Giants. That team is long gone and made playoffs once since then. Seattle, that Legion of Boom team is long gone but still consistent playoff team. Eagles, that team is done quickly. And Tampa, who could repeat but will go back to terrible once Brady is gone
