Stafford is 0-15 on the road vs winning teams

Any given Sunday. But you'll never convince me to put money on the Lions.
 
I also heard on the radio that Matt missed Tate wide open on the one long pass play to Calvin and the guy on the radio has mentioned what a few have on the board with Calvin in he locks on to CJ to many times..

This was a guy in the press box and he was sitting next to the Press who covers Arizona and they were flabbergasted how well the secondary was playing for AZ yesterday with the Lions having Tate and Calvin.
 
Maybe our pass rush gives Brady fits.... 18-17 DET..... I drink grape Kool-Aid with vodka :)

Tate shouldve slapped Stafford after the game. 2 targets for our leading receiver is blasphemy

On paper ...their defense is going to have like 10000 fantasy points against us. They'll put revis on tate and bracket cj with browner and a safety....poof....staffords head explodes.

Who covers Gronk? Whitehead or Levy? Damn, need Safety help from Dig or Quin. I'd say Mathis on Edelman and Slay on Lafell because of his size. Oooooooooooo we in trrrrrrrouble lol.

You realize that every team for the last 5 years has tried that and MEGATRON still averages about 100 yards/ game, right? (Except Dallas. Jerry Jones decided he wanted to try to prove his WR was better than #81 and single cover him with Brandon Carr. Yes, Brandon Carr. All game. 329 yards later.....)

We will need Riddick, Ebron, Fuller and Bush to have good games in the underneath routes......and that is primarily on Lombardi and his game plan.

So, basically, we're fucked!

I hear ya.

I believe our D can keep us in the game like they have all year....even against elite QB's....but I have no confidence in our offense. None.

Staff is struggling with getting a handle on this offense and Lombardi has shown zero signs of being able to adjust. It reminds me of Marinelli....we just keep trying things that aren't working expecting them to suddenly be effective. Apparently, Lombardi wants this offense to keep "poundin the rock"!

Wonder if Dallas would trade Lombardi for Linehan. I honestly think this team would be in a much better position with Linehans offense.

Can't we just tell Jerry Jones its Vince Lombardi and see if he buys it?
 
I know I'm about to draw the ire of every fan base regarding Calvin, but is anyone else sick of the Megatron nickname? It was fun for the first few years, but it's worn out IMO.

That stat line is terrifying, and that's why Stafford is not an elite QB. He's a good QB. No doubt about it. But that's where it stops.

I don't think you'll draw any ire......but personally, I love it.
 
New England is terrible against the run.

We get Bush back and he and Bell finally get that ground game kicking in high gear. Both over 100 yards, with Bush adding another 60 receiving.

Lions pass rush gets in Brady's face all day, forcing him not to step into the pocket.

Lions 20-12 over New England, on the road, with no Brady TDs and four field goals. Gronk is neutralized in the red zone by Levy who has two INTs, and Jonas Gray only gets 28 yards on the ground, showing why he was the 14th string RB on the roster.

Book it.

I'm on a shitload of meds, I can make any damned prediction I want this week and get away with it.

Im pretty much over watching Bush play. Pretty good chance he is gone at the end of the year so let Riddick play.

And I'll hear further flack but good games by Bush, Ebron and others that never come .. there's one constant, Matt Stafford. He can't get it done.

Blame the OC, blame the first round pick or the drops, and blame the OL. We can't score for one reason, because Matt Stafford sucks.
