Im pretty much over watching Bush play. Pretty good chance he is gone at the end of the year so let Riddick play.

I think it's a little early to expect Riddick to be part of a 1/2 combo. Small sample size, but career long run is 7 yards. 60 total yards in 26 carries.

He's been decent as a receiver, but still not sure if he is anymore than a change of pace back.

I think Reggie is on the team next year. 5.2 million if on team 2.0 million if cut. I think he is still worth 3.2 million difference.

Based on this year...not even close to worth the extra $3.2M! Based on $200K a game he has produced 360 total yards and 1 TD in 10 games. That is $5,555 per yard or $2M per TD!!! Draft a guy in the 7th round and you will get better production than that!

If we base it only on this year the only person coming back to our offense next year is golden tate.

I don't thing you would get much for him with his huge cap numbers & recent injury history. Maybe a 2nd round draft pick....maybe. If a player like him were on the open market I certainly wouldn't want the Lions giving up much for him! Probably wouldn't even want them to trade anything for him.

He isn't tradeable after this year. I would actually cost a few 100K more trade him than keep him in terms of 2015 cap hit.
2017 is the earliest I could possibly see trading him from a fiscal point of view.

At that point his base salary would be so high no team would want him unless he was willing to sign a new contract. even at that point I couldn't see getting more than a mid level pick for him.

There are more WRs that are coming close to his ability, size, speed. Guy is still a freak, but the gap between him and the 5th best WR isn't as large.

I love Calvin, but man he drops some easy ones. No idea if the stats back that up, but he always drops a big catch every game.

The run game has opened up some with Calvin back. Bush/Bell did solid against Miami and Bell did well against a good run defense Cards team.

It was 7 bad run days before that with Calvin hurt 3 and limited in two.

5.1 is a great day. Bell had a 21 yarder too. Bush/Bell had solid averages against Miami. Riddick did not. Run game getting better, even without Warford and Pettigrew. Waddle missed Miami game and 4th against Cards too. It took a step forward with Calvin.

And their run defense on short yardage and stopping Bell five times in the backfield for losses to make bad down and distance. Collins run worked 4/4 earlier in the year. Riddick run I understand trying to catch them off guard.

So it was a good run day or not? It seems that they had 2 good runs that day and the rest sucked! A 33 yard run and a 22 yard run and then stuffed the rest of the day is not a good running day.
